A two-in-one bookstore: one designed for children, the other for adults, allowing you to journey through the ages.

Two bookstores located in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, the first in the neighborhood, had not been renovated for 20 years. Beyond completely refurbishing the children's bookstore, we were tasked with providing a recognizable identity for both bookstores on their facades.

This was achieved by creating a strip composed of distinctive steel volumes and shades of blue, illuminated by simple LED lettering signs, and concrete bases on which the facades rest. Inside the children's bookstore, you embark on a maritime journey: book display islands appear to float on the blue concrete, leveling differences in elevation and framing the reading nook around the fireplace.
