The wooden kindergarten faces a small isolated forest among cultivated fields. The building turns to it by opening the main interior spaces with large windows and letting the wood itself become the closure of the garden defined by the two side porticoes and the glass window of the central volume.
The central volume contains the main functions: two classroom of the kindergarten and a common space. Around this volume are grafted four lower volumes containing the accessory functions. The two volumes adjacent to the entrance contain all the staff service rooms (kitchen, pantry, laundry, changing rooms, management), while the other two volumes contain the ancillary rooms directly used by children (sleeping room, bathrooms and atelier) as well as the two porticoes.
The caretaker's house is organized on to two floors, the living area on the ground floor and the sleeping area on the first floor. The concrete wall extends beyond the volume of the house to define an outdoor space for the exclusive use of the home.
The front entrance of the kindergarten and the caretaker's house surround a trees square.
