The aim of the Doukas School Kindergarten Yard renovation, was to create a modern and pleasing space for the children, in which they can take their first steps, develop skills (gardening, ceramics, etc.) and of course... to play!

Initially, a route was designed inside it, not only for separating the play zones, outdoor activities, etc. between them, but also for giving easy access to every corner of it to the children and the kindergarten teachers.

Through the new layout, independent gathering spaces were created, that serve the teaching and socializing needs of smaller groups of students.

Beyond the corridor, an amphitheatric -artificially shaped - hill dominates the space creating two independent outdoor teaching zones, while the three colored cylinders unite them for letting its young visitors comunicate during the break.

Finally, with respect for the children and the environment, the chosen toys and equipment, meet all safety standards and are made from natural materials.
