隔墙间的住宅，巴塞罗那/将工业厂房改造成城市绿洲

设计团队受委托为育有孩子的夫妇设计一栋两层楼高的住宅，它位于三面临墙的建筑之中，周围分别是四层、单层和二层的体块，且后两个体块位于非建筑用地上。该项目仅占据原建筑的前两层楼，这里曾经是工业厂房，空间低矮，通风和采光条件也较差。

We were commissioned to design a two-story house for a couple with a child. The project is located in a building between party walls consisting of three volumes of GF+3, GF and GF+1, the last two of which are located on non-building land. The project area just includes the first two stories, where an industrial workshop with very low-rise indoor spaces and very poor ventilation and natural lighting conditions is located.

为了改善通风和采光，设计团队拆除了基地后部的加建部分以及建筑主体的后立面，并将其改造成内庭院，使住宅变得开阔。此外，还拆除了两层楼之间的原有隔板，并将一楼标高降低50厘米，从而获得足够的空间高度。设计团队清空房屋内部后置入支撑二层楼的钢结构，并将其退后主立面6米，形成通高的过道。从横截面看，该结构将长条空间划分为1：2。从纵剖面看，它定义了连接街道与庭院的一系列空间。

With the aim of improving the ventilation and natural light conditions, the out-of-regulation buildings from the back of the plot are demolished as well as the rear facade of the main volume, defining an inner patio where the house will open.On the other hand, the existing intermediate slab is demolished and the ground floor level is lowered by 50cm in order to gain useful height.After the emptying phase, a steel structure that supports the first floor is introduced within the existing volume. The structure is about 6m setback from the main façade, defining a double height access.In cross section, the structure arranges the space into a 1/3 width ‘server strip’ and a 2/3 width ‘served strip’. In longitudinal section, it defines a sequence of chained spaces that links the street with the patio.

房屋入口的通高空间在街道和室内之间形成了视觉、声音和能量的过滤器。室内融合了原有结构的粗糙表面与新结构的洁白表面。内部庭院被视为城市绿洲，起到两部分作用，一是将餐厅向室外延伸，二是为家庭生活建立了绿植背景。

The entrance to the house is through the double height, that operates as a visual, acoustic and energetic filter between the street and the interior spaces. The indoor materiality mixes the roughness of the original structure with the white and aseptic surfaces of the new construction. The inner court, conceived as an urban oasis, is organized in two parts: the first one is the extension of the dining room to the outside and the second one establishes a vegetal background to domestic life.
