The project is based on an intervention to an existing building. It is located in a growing area of town, facing the ocean and with great accessibility features, bathing area and numerous equipment.

The house has three floors, and it is controlled and within the preexisting size limits, possessing high quality interior and exterior areas. The intervention is taken on the South side, the oldest area of the property, where we foresee the update of the ground and first floors, as well as the building of a new floor.

On the ground floor, the main alteration is the change of the position of the stairs and the removal of the garage. This floor now has a common sitting room, bigger and more welcoming, with a support bathroom, and a functional kitchen properly ventilated which connects to an exterior patio for entertainment.

On the first floor, we have two South-facing en-suite bedrooms. On the second floor, currently nonexistent, we propose the creation of two more en-suite bedrooms facing South and a loft to the West.

The finishes and decor follow a simplistic and welcoming theme, with the application of microcement to nearly its entirety, both to the walls and ceiling, functioning as a canvas to the decoration elements in wood that bring warmth to the space.

The strong relationship to the sea influenced not only the selection of long-lasting materials, such as the cladding the façade, frames and an opening in zinc, as well as the wood decoration, serving as a metaphor to the wood logs found in the sand.
