House Layang Layang is designed specially to take advantage of the tropical climate in Malaysia with exceptionally large openings for cross ventilation and daylight. To avoid overheating, the house is oriented with the main facades facing South and North. Conceptually, the design expresses the flight movement, inspired by the owner's name, with 'wings' stretched out to the sky.
