区域 POSITION

SAIS位于上海市徐汇区龙山小区内，靠近上海体育馆，原名为上海飞机制造厂职工子弟学校，1995年建造。由于学校在住宅小区内，用地紧凑。 主要教室位于场地北侧的教学楼，综合楼则位于操场东侧，改造后作为多功能空间兼做体育馆和汇报厅等。

SAIS is located in Xuhui District, Shanghai, next to the Shanghai Gymnasium. It was originally called ” the School for Employees’ Children of Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Plant“ and was built in 1995. The land is compact in the residential area.

理解场地的重要性及其与周围环境的关系是通过设计表达的第一个要点。SAIS位于一个历史悠久的居住区，是上海的第一所航空学校。一所拥有独特文化历史的学校将会是一个独特的机会，让它在上海的其他学校中脱颖而出。

Understanding the importance of the site and its contextual relationship with its surrounding environment is the first important point that is expressed through its design. The SAIS school lies in a rich historical residential community and was Shanghai’s first aerotechnic school. A school with a unique cultural history is an opportunity to give it a uniqueness and let it stand out from the other schools in Shanghai.

学校成为了现有老社区的一颗明珠，并重新带来了活力。上海澳洲国际学校不仅是一所学校，更是学生、教师的家园，更是一个受到更光明的国际未来和跨文化关系鼓舞的社区。

The school becomes a jewel in the existing old neighborhood and brings back the vitality. The SAIS is not only a school, it is a home of students, teachers and a community that is inspired by a brighter international future and cross-cultural relationships.

灵感 INSPIRATION

作为第一飞机制造厂职工学校，它提供了一个独特的视角，使学校具有丰富的国际特色，航空、飞机、太空旅行都涉及到把人类和文化带到不同的地方和国家，创造跨文化交流。这正是这所学校想要创造和促进的:学生、教师和周围社区之间的跨文化体验。

As the first aerotechnic school, it offers a unique perspective of giving the school a rich international character, aerotechnic, aircraft, space-travel that are all related to bringing humans and culture to different places and countries and create cross cultural exchanges. This is what this school exactly wants to create and promote: a cross-cultural experience between students, teachers and its surrounding community.

设计的来源于中国传统建筑内外相结合的创作手法，即建筑低调功能性的建筑外表和丰富华丽的内涵，犹如一本打开的书，学校是学生，老师和家长互相学习的地方。通过引入独特的国际学习理念，SAIS学校如何在上海的不同学校中脱颖而出。 边玩边学，一种简单的动态陈述，将促进和支配学校的设计及其核心价值。玩耍成为学习的一部分，让学习变得有趣。

The design is derived from the creative technique of combining the interior and exterior of traditional Chinese architecture, that is, the low-key and functional architectural appearance and rich and gorgeous connotation of the building. It is like an open book. The school is a place for students, teachers and parents to learn from each other. By introducing a unique international learning concept, how does the school stand out among different schools in Shanghai. Learning by playing, a simple dynamic statement, will promote and govern the design of the school and its core values. Play becomes part of learning and makes learning fun.

七巧板（Tangram）是一种具有创造力，愉悦和增添乐趣的玩具，七巧板是一组简单的木制三角形，由它们组成，可以创造出独特形状和物体。通过边玩边学引发的创新和创造力。这是SAIS学校应该具有的心态，这就是应该如何设计学校。简单的几何立面，随着太阳的角度得到不一样的阴影，典雅经典的立体三角面增加了建筑的雕塑感，创造出学校非常与众不同的独特瞬间。

Tangram is a creative, pleasant and fun toy. Tangram is a group of simple wooden triangles, composed of them, which can create unique shapes and objects. Innovation and creativity triggered by playing and learning. This is the mentality that XXX school should have, and this is how the school should be designed. The simple geometric façade creates different shadows with the angle of the sun. The elegant and classic three-dimensional triangular surface adds to the sculptural sense of the building, creating a unique and unique moment for the school.

立面设计 FACADE DESIGN

材料选用了轻质的水泥纤纤维板，尽可能减少新加立面的重力和侧向力，给让原本单调平直的建筑立面更为立体有雕塑感，同时立面保温和隔音的性能得以提升

Lightweight cement fiberboard is selected as the material to minimize the gravity and lateral force of the newly added facade, giving the original monotonous and straight building facade more three-dimensional and sculptural. At the same time, the insulation and sound insulation performance of the facade has been improved.

颜色上选用了明亮的黄色和典雅中性的灰色，代表了人们将一切清零、从头开始、重新构想、彻底改造时所需要的韧性、乐观、希望和积极性。

In terms of color, we chose bright yellow and elegant neutral gray, which represent the toughness, optimism, hope and enthusiasm that people need to clear everything, start from scratch, reimagine, and completely transform.

西侧立面设计呼应了七巧板的概念，同时减少开窗面积来应对西晒减少能耗，三角窗可以看到远处万体馆，北立面的空调格栅也和其他立面相呼应，动态鲜艳的三角形给了原本北立面增添了更多有趣和动感。

The design of the west facade echoes the concept of tangrams, while reducing the window area to cope with the west exposure and reducing energy consumption. The triangular windows can see the Wanzhou Gymnasium in the distance, and the air conditioning grille on the north facade also echoes the other facades. The bright triangles add more fun and dynamic to the original north facade.

景观设计 LANDSCAPE

景观设计以柔和的单色为概念，统一了整个游乐场。 深黄色和浅黄色的变化将操场和其他户外区域区分开来。 将木制长凳融入精心设计的绿色景观，为学校的学生提供遮阳和可持续的自冷环境。

The landscape design is conceptualized by a soft and monochromatic color that unifies the entire playground. A variation of dark and light yellow distinct the playground and the other outdoor areas. Wooden benches are proposed to integrate a carefully designed green landscape that will shade and provide a sustainable self-cooling environment for the students of the school.

户外座位和雨棚 OUTDOOR SEATING + CANOPY

户外座椅旨在营造出流畅而有趣的外部空间。 一系列弯曲的几何图形和楼梯邀请学生参与到有趣的设计中，让他们坐下来放松，享受遮荫良好的外部空间。 座椅与三角形天篷相连，有助于遮阳，但在下雨天也能保护学生。 它为他们提供了一个独特的外部空间，他们可以在所有季节使用。

The outdoor seating is designed to propose a fluid and playful exterior space. A series of curved geometries and stairs are inviting students to participate in the playful design and allow them to sit, relax and enjoy a nicely shaded covered exterior space. The seats are connected with a triangular canopy that helps to shade but also protect students during rainy days. It provides them a unique exterior space which they can use throughout all seasons.

楼梯 STAIR

灰色水磨石地板、木纹扶手和LED数字灯相互融合, 我们使用木头和灰色瓷砖使空间温暖而干净，同时扩大了门窗，让阳光透过。

Gray terrazzo floor, wood texture handrail and LED number lighting integrated with each other to make the vertical traffic space elegant. The use of wood and gray tiles to make the space warm and clean, at the same time, the window and door are enlarged, which allow sunlight to pass through.
