This is one of our designs ordered by Mrs. Lya. located in Tasikmadu, Malang City. precisely in a residential area. Because the location is very strategic at the back end of the housing complex, this house has a good view out because the surrounding area is still rice fields.
This house consists of 2 floors. On the 1st floor there is a living room, garage, terrace, 1 main bedroom adjacent to a private bathroom, and a request from the user wanted a swimming pool for a play area for his 2 children and nephews. This swimming pool is very accessible, it can be reached from inside and outside. Next to the pool we also provide a rinse room which is located under the stairs.
The 2nd floor consists of 2 bedrooms for children. playroom, prayer room, family room, 1 bathroom and of course a very wide balcony for various kinds of outdoor activities. Because he often holds discussions with his friends, it is very suitable to be used as a discussion area with a view of the surrounding rice fields.
Even though the land area is only 7 x 10 square meters, this does not make this house seem cramped with all its space requirements. because we set it up using lots of openings in the form of windows. This is in accordance with the rules of a tropical house. where the house must be able to adapt to a tropical climate that is hot during the day, cold at night, high air humidity, and heavy rain intensity. So the concept of a modern tropical house was chosen which was applied to this house.
the tropical house concept can be observed from the building facade. At the front we can observe the many openings in the form of windows in each room. The use of black and white was a request from our client because it gives a clean impression. The black area on the exterior of this building uses granite tiles with a marble motif to give a sturdy and firm impression. decorated with aluminum composite panel (ACP) material with floral patterns. Continue to the roof. here we choose a triangular prism roof shape or what is usually called a "shield roof". Using this form of roof requires gutters on the sides for rainwater drainage. From a distance, this house looks dashing with its shape.
