G.A Group proudly announces their collaboration with Hotel Indigo on the Park Kuala Lumpur, marking IHG’s debut in Malaysia. Nestled next to the Bukit Nanas forest reserve, the last vestige of untouched primary rainforest in the city’s heart, this 4-star boutique hotel welcomed its first guests in December 2023.

G.A 集团与吉隆坡公园英迪格酒店的合作，标志着洲际集团在马来西亚的首次亮相。这家四星级精品酒店毗邻 Bukit Nanas（咖啡山）森林保护区，市中心最后一处未受破坏的原始雨林，于 2023 年 12 月迎来了第一批客人。

G.A Group have curated a narrative that seamlessly integrates the rainforest within the hotel’s DNA, echoing the relationship between nature and the urban environment. Their design approach incorporates rich local cultural influences, creating a captivating blend that celebrates Malaysia’s heritage while offering a unique and sustainable hospitality experience.

G.A 集团策划的设计叙事将雨林无缝融入酒店 DNA，呼应自然与城市环境之间的关系。设计手法融合了丰富的在地文化影响元素，创造了一种迷人的融合，颂扬马来西亚的传统，同时提供独特且可持续的酒店体验。

A nature-infused urban oasis

Located within the bustling cityscape yet deeply connected to its natural surroundings, the Hotel Indigo on the Park Kuala Lumpur embodies a nature-infused urban oasis. G.A Group’s design approach honours the surrounding forest and local environment, translating these influences into subtle yet impactful elements throughout the hotel. The lobby serves as a captivating introduction to this narrative where guests are welcomed by a double-height green wall that sets stage for the experience ahead. Reflecting a commitment to sustainability, the reception desks, crafted from reclaimed tree roots, symbolise a harmonious cycle of life within the hotel’s ethos.

吉隆坡公园英迪格酒店坐落于繁华的城市景观中，但又与周围的自然环境紧密相连，是一个充满自然气息的城市绿洲。G.A 集团的设计手法在尊重周围的森林和当地环境的基础上，将这些影响转化为整个酒店微妙而富有影响力的元素。大堂空间是对这一设计叙事的引人入胜的介绍，双层高的绿植墙迎接客人，为探索进一步的酒店体验奠定了基调。接待台由回收的树根制作而成，体现了对可持续发展的承诺，象征着酒店精神中和谐的生命循环。

Further enhancing this eco-conscious narrative is a sculptural tree adorned with glass bottle branches, a visionary creation by G.A Group. This unique installation symbolises the hotel’s dedication to recycling and repurposing natural resources, drawing inspiration from flying buttress roots of the high canopy trees found in the nearby forest reserve.

极具雕塑感的树以玻璃瓶进行装饰，进一步增强了这种生态意识的设计叙事，这是 G.A 集团富有想象力的创作。这一独特的装置象征着酒店致力于回收和再利用自然资源的决心，其灵感源于附近森林保护区中高冠树的飞扶根。

A distinctive focal point within the lobby is the central staircase, constructed from old railway sleepers and rebar from the construction site. This choice, not only is a further example of recycling materials but also intertwines history and culture to the space, adding a sense of place.

大堂内独特的视觉焦点是中央楼梯，由旧铁路枕木和建筑工地的钢筋建造而成。这一选择，不仅是回收材料的又一范例，同时将历史和文化与空间交织在一起，增添了在地文化的氛围感。

An urban glade in the sky 空中的城市空地 This narrative of harmonising nature and urban living, extends seamlessly to the exterior spaces as well as the interiors of Hotel Indigo on the park Kuala Lumpur.

The roof top pool and terrace, is envisioned as a modern interpretation of a forest glade – an urban glade in the sky.

屋顶泳池和露台被设想为森林空地的现代诠释——空中的城市空地。

Drawing inspiration from nature’s play of light and shadow, sunlight filters through a stylised canopy before gently playing across the vegetation of the forest floor.

从大自然的光影变化中汲取灵感，阳光经风格独特的树冠雨篷过滤，温柔地照射在森林地面的植被上。

This concept is embodied by a stylised architectural metal sunshade that utilises the patterns of the forest canopy, surrounded by green walls and built-in planters, creating a relaxing oasis around a forest spring.

这一概念体现在风格独特的建筑金属遮阳篷上，遮阳篷采用森林树冠的图案，周围环绕着绿植墙和固定花盆，在森林泉水周围创造了一片放松的绿洲。

Celebrating local cultural influences

Beyond its harmonious blend of nature and modernity, Hotel Indigo on the Park Kuala Lumpur also celebrates Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage. ’Silver Monkey’ and ’Wok Star’, the food & beverage offerings at Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park, showcase these vibrant cultural inspirations. Silver Monkey draws inspiration from local kopitiam culture, reflecting community and tradition. The essence of a traditional Malay coffee shop is captured through encaustic cement mosaic tiles, the ubiquitous finish of the early mid-century architecture associated with the area and the green and white colour palette inspired by the iconic chinaware.

‘Wok Star’ is the hotel’s all day dining offering with energetic open kitchens, all with their own identities, taking inspiration by mamak culture. Bursts of colour, exposed elements and a feature graffiti mural add to the vibrant atmosphere reminiscent of lively local street food market.

Guestrooms and Suites

This narrative of cultural celebration is carried through to the guestroom offering. Inspired by the Malaysian "kaki lima" or five-foot way, the guestroom corridors feature a covered walkway often found in front of shops. These are decorated with shapes and forms of the old Kampung house eaves translated into bold and vibrant cut out paper.

这种颂扬在地文化的设计叙事贯穿于客房的设计中。受马来西亚“kaki lima”或五脚基的启发，客房走廊被设计成当地店铺前常见的带顶棚走道，传统甘榜屋的屋檐被转化为大胆而充满活力的剪纸，用以装饰走廊。

In each guestroom, a traditional dry larder conceals a mini bar, while a congkak board and cloth bags, from the traditional game Batu Seremban, add playful yet thought-provoking touch to the space.

每间客房中，传统的干燥储藏室都隐藏着一个迷你吧，而来自传统游戏马来播棋的棋盘以及 Batu Seremban 的布袋则为空间增添了俏皮而又发人深省的感觉。

These elements evoke memories for those familiar and spark thoughts or talking points for those traveling from out of town.

Resonance Project

Inspiration is drawn from the Bukit Nana, looking at the signage found within the rainforest, featuring wooden materials with distinctive framed edges.

Notably, each floor possesses unique signage elements, intricately tied to the interior design cues from diverse shapes and colours to materiality, meaning every detail tells a story.
