Just like the diverse tapestry of my multi-hyphenate approach to both work & life, 'Westwood' embodies versatility at its core. This newly opened design studio is a locale for a curated range of designer ends, mill overruns & exclusive fabrics from across the world! More than just a studio for creativity, it serves as a bustling hive of inspiration—a space where fabric samples find their home, photo shoots come to life, and design dreams are realized.

When I discovered this 1100 sq. ft space nestled in the heart of Shahpur Jat, Delhi with its open floor plan and ample natural light. I knew it had the potential to be the flawless place for a warm, light color, minimal yet functional fashion design house.

The challenge was to create intimacy and warmth within industrial, Scandi-inspired interiors with blending emotions. Just when you enter the studio you can feel the realm of old-world charm: mango wood furniture, playful terrazzo on the floor, beauty of arches, details with a stroke of cane & muted tone textiles. I always thought of an office to be a warm yet formal space that is functional in every aspect & then the idea was relieved through Westwood's studio. The intent was to stay consistent in the use of materials that speak volumes yet bring harmony to the space so that the only focus remains on the thoughtfully picked & curated fabrics being the story's main character. It’s a homage to designers, custom apparel & Italian fabrics popping around the corners of this open & airy atmosphere.
