Swire Properties

offices with an energy efficient space focused on wellness in Beijing, China.

Swire invited Robarts Spaces to co-create a new Beijing workplace that enables staff to be their most innovative, effective and sustainable best selves, offering disruptive change in ways of working and providing a benchmark for Swire’s real-estate clients. Design inspiration traces back to Swire’s history and is enlighten by focus on sustainability and wellness. The design references its Beijing settings, reinterpreting traditional materials like bamboo and grey roof tiles into contemporary expressions. Diverse space formats maximize utilization while providing various work scenarios to meet a range of activities. The project is submitted for LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum certification.
