Gabriel dos Santos Building consist of two historic listed houses form the 1930s with a residential twenty story building in what used to be their backyards. The three buildings are connected by an underground car park. The listed houses were carefully restored with as few interventions as possible and finished in a mineral render in ochre and coral.

The apartment building is elevated above the houses, leaving covered communal areas on the ground floor and respecting the rear facades of the houses. Even though the building is in a very dense and vertical neighborhood, as it is set back considerably from the street and positioned in the center of the city block, it receives plenty of natural light in all units.
