To mark its third birthday, creative agency Studio Pesca has opened a multifunctional space in the heart of Milan. Designed by Greta Cenenini, the interior captures the city’s contemporary soul through a distinct aesthetic balanced with an almost blank canvas—open to any matter of creative projects. This aligns with the world of Studio Pesca, composed of creative talent in art direction, content production, graphic design, social media, web development, editorial projects, and events the creative studio collaborates with a wide range of brands across a collection of creative ventures.
Located in Paolo Sarpi, the renovated apartment has an ‘old Milan’ imprint. Greta and Studio Pesca looked to impose the studio’s defined identity within, creating an out-of-the-ordinary composition within the classic-looking box.
Now dressed in a new and unexpected guise, a bold acid green permeates the entrance and exhibition space. Combinations of opposite tones and materials follow—a nod to the eclectic work of Studio Pesca synthesised within the space. Energetic tones coat the common spaces dedicated to events and collaborations while the kitchen, office, and meeting room contrast in soft shades of sand and crisp whites.
The same duality led to the choice of materials; cold and interesting elements such as the mirrored metal of the table and stools, designed by architect Sofia Albrigo, or the plastic curtains and acid green enamel finish coexist with parquet flooring and warm textured walls.
In the meeting room, a curtain printed with some of Studio Pesca’s most important works replaces the classic brainstorming blackboard. Prints of other works permeate the room’s walls throughout the space and, continuing with the same narrative, many of the furnishings chosen recall codes used in set design. “My wish was to narrate Studio Pesca and its imagery through the space; considering the nature of the studio’s work, I decided to base this narration on images”, Greta explains.
With an exhibition space, office, meeting room, kitchen and photographic studio the apartment is well equipped to host almost anything from dinner and workshops to cooking shows and trunk shows. To find out more, click here.
