苏州真山公园地处高新区通安镇,距苏州市中心10公里,对外交通便利,设计规模为43公顷。设计尊重场地自然现状,在构建“海绵公园”和建设“生产性的低维护景观”两大策略的指引下,将一个垃圾填埋场摇身转变为一个“看得见山,望得见水,记得住乡愁”的城市公园,为建设水弹性城市做出重要贡献。
Suzhou Zhen Shan Park is located in Tongan town of high-tech zone, 10 kilometers away from the center of Suzhou, with external transport facilities, and a design scale of 43 hectares. Designed to follow the natural situation in the construction site, “Sponge Park” and the construction of productive, low maintenance landscape of the two strategies under the guidance of creating a city park, with green hills in sight, blue waters in view, and homeland in heart, which makes a great contribution to the construction of city’s water elasticity.

真山公园整体以一条长约1公里的慢行系统贯穿南北两大片区,联系着各功能区;慢行系统由钢格栅栈道及红色玻璃钢座椅组成,提供集游客漫步、观光、休憩、科普教育等为一体的带状功能体验。
Zhen Shan Park is connected with five functional areas by a slow- moving system of about 1 km long .The non-motorized traffic system is composed of steel grille and red glass steel seats. It is a strip function experience that integrates tourists’ wandering, sightseeing, rest, and science education.

Waterfront leisure zone: introducing commercial, catering, leisure and entertainment functions in the pond and islands , creating waterfront leisure experience, attracting the surrounding citizens, and activating the whole park;

田园湿地区:营造壮丽的稻田、向日葵等农业生产景观,利用戏水堰等打造亲水体验,同时可进行农业生产科普教育;
Rural wet areas: creating magnificent paddy fields, sunflowers and other agricultural production landscapes, and using the water weir to create a water-loving experience, while agricultural production can be used to science education;

田园山林区:营造幽静的山居生活,以采摘果蔬、绿色餐饮和精品民宿等经营实现以园养园。

如何保护及改善场地风貌并设计与场地结合的景观环境?场地地处高新开发区入口,如何彰显城市门户特色?场地周边设有大型农民动迁小区,如何设计满足农民需求的景观环境,延续场地记忆及土地本有功能,留住乡愁?与此同时,如何积极响应海绵城市政策,将其落实到最小单元的地块建设中,保证宏观区域的海绵效应?
How to protect and improve the site features and design a landscape environment combined with the existing site?Seating in the entrance of high-tech Development Zone, how to highlight the characteristics of the city portal? The site has a large rural residential area, how to design a landscape environment to meet the needs of farmers, to continue the field memory and function, retain nostalgia? At the same time, how to actively respond to the Sponge city and Five Water Policy, and to implement the site construction of the smallest unit, ensuring the regional macro sponge effect is an urgent problem to solve.

场地内分布大小两座真山及大量荒地,因开山挖石产生的采石坑经雨水径流形成面积较大的水域,近些年逐步被生活垃圾填埋,导致场地污染严重,同时场地外围建有大量的安居房,居民对公共绿地的使用有非常迫切的需要。设计的目标在于建设一个延续场地记忆,发挥土地功能,服务周边群众的弹性公园。
There are two real mountains in the site, and are all broken. The existing water area in recent years has shrunk dramatically, and gradually replaced by landfill. At the same time, a large number of residential buildings are built on the periphery of the site, and residents have a very urgent need for the use of public green space. The final goal is to construct a flexible park, with continuing field memory, land functioning and masses serving.

一个生产性的低维护景观、功能性湿地、弹性的公园。
(1)收集净化周边集水的湿地: 公园的核心是一条带状、具有水净化功能的人工湿地系统,它将吸纳来自场地及周边地块的雨水,通过沉淀以及长达1公里的湿地净化后,流入末端水质稳定区。净化后的雨水可用于公园绿化灌溉及道路冲洗等。
(2)生产性的低维护景观: 保留现状的田肌理与风貌,让市民在精致的步道中体验田园风光,使其成为包含生产性、可参与性、观赏性、科普性、经济性等多功能于一体的大地景观,延续土地生产的记忆。
A productive and low maintenance, function, and flexible park.
(1)To purify the surrounding collecting wetland: The core of Park is a strip, which has the function of water purification of artificial wetland system, it will absorb rainwater from site and the surrounding land, after precipitation and 1 km long wetland purification, inflow end water quality in the region. After purification, the rainwater can be used for landscaping irrigation and road flushing.
(2)The productive and low-maintenance landscape: As a comprehensive earth landscape of productive, participatory, ornamental, scientific and economical, it retains the field texture and style, enables people to experience the idyllic scenery in the exquisite trail, and continues the memory of land production.

通过以上景观设计策略,将原先残破的山体、持续恶化的垃圾场,改造成一个生产性的、低成本维护的水弹性城市公园,最大程度利用场地现有资源,满足市民的休闲游憩需求。真山公园的建成,不仅提高了城镇环境质量,改善城镇面貌,全面提升居住环境,同时积极响应海绵城市建设的政策,可为苏州地区的生态治理,环境提升提供示范。
Through the landscape design strategy, the original broken mountain, the continued deterioration of the landfill has been successfully transformed into a elastic water city park which is low cost of production and maintenance. At the same time, using the existing resources of the site, aim to design a park which can meet the needs of people’s leisure and recreation.The built of Zhen Shan park not only improving the quality of urban environment , landscape and living environment, but also actively responding the policy of sponge city construction, which can be used as a mode and provide references for the Ecological governance and environmental improvement of Suzhou.
