Casa Brisa was designed to be a summer house on Xangri-lá beach, on the coast of Rio Grande do Sul, in a private condominium. With a trapezoidal shape, the land communicates, at the back, with the common area of ​​the condominium, which has a central lake, generating a privileged view for the project.

Starting from the premise of turning the openings towards this view, the front facade presents itself in a reserved way, in which the exposed concrete wall delimits the shelter for vehicles and conforms the internal garden that directs the visitor to the interior of the house.

The second floor, set back from the front of the house, advances towards the back and it works as a cover for the veranda adjacent to the pool. The masonry block contains three other suites, all communicated to the balcony overlooking the lake. Aiming the linearity of this facade, the wooden brises make up a niche next to the lining and coverings of the side gables.

The materiality applied in the subtraction of the upper volume is also perceived in the pergola on the ground floor that rises from the garage, crosses the social area and advances over the veranda, presenting itself as a prominent element in the built volumetry.

Internally, the materiality found is primarily the result of architectural compositional strategies, such as the exposed concrete wall where the fireplace and television are located, the wood-covered volume and the pergola itself. To complement, the choice of loose furniture prioritized finishes in light and neutral tones.
