The new training center offers a central training facility for theoretical and practical exercises and further training for all fire departments in the district.

It includes offices for the district fire inspectorate and classrooms, as well as a breathing apparatus training area with a maintenance station, a storage area for equipment and disaster control. In addition to the spacious training areas, there is also a covered area between the two parts of the building, which allows training to take place regardless of the weather.

The site is located on the edge of an industrial estate and slopes gently from east to west. The higher hall is located in the east of the property and is half buried in the slope. The single-storey part of the building with the classrooms, offices and the breathing apparatus section is located to the west. The shared roof runs along the slope of the natural terrain, connecting both parts of the building with the covered training yard and thus blending in with the natural terrain.
