A building should have consistent changes, which will start a dialogue that lasts for many years. It is a “dialogue with a field.” Times have changed, and we have gradually moved away from the era of just “building” and turned to “maintaining” buildings, beginning to care about their growth, change, and reorganization process.
-Growth
Everything has a spirit, and so does architecture. When the shape of a building is sketched out by the designer on the sketchbook, all the vitality and aura are injected into its body in an instant, and its life is given by the designer. What follows is a long period of growth, absorbing the essence of heaven and earth, carrying the mission of the times, and witnessing the historical transition.
-Variety
The iteration of architecture is not just rebirth after violent dismantling. A good building is more like a work of art with tenacious vitality, which needs to be maintained by future generations. Its functions may change over time, but they will stand forever.
-Reorganization
As time changes, through the integration of new buildings and elements, they collide, merge, and reorganize, and a larger and more complex architectural life is born.
Repeatedly like this, it is an iteration of architecture.

The tall gray cylinders on the exterior facade of the building are arranged vertically in sequence, and in this unified order, they form a sculptural rhythmic beauty.

Starting from the spirit of the architectural place, strong light and shadow are created to contrast with the space. The soft light gradient created on the cylindrical building surface collides with our senses, creating a “weightless” spatial experience.

The two entrances run through the foyer, and the exhibitions are arranged on both sides of the foyer. The ten barns of the original building were cleverly divided by the designer into different exhibition halls, bathrooms and stairs according to functions. After entering the foyer, the wide and high space is combined with the horizontal linear lights on the ceiling. The line of sight is stretched infinitely, and then ends abruptly with the barns. The wooden molded concrete walls and floodlights depict each barn. A sense of solemn profundity has been created. A tunnel-like corridor is left, waiting to be explored.

Entering the interior of the barn, under the action of the original barn and the glass box, a geometric vision of squares and columns is created. It is a breakthrough and contrast in minimalism. The texture paint on the wall seems to tell all the vicissitudes the barn has experienced. It is also a dialogue: industry and modernity, closedness and openness, memory and future… At this moment, everything will be sublimated. The roof of the warehouse is an artificial skylight created by the designer with lighting, combined with the starry downlights, natural light and shadow on the wall, as if time has been frozen, and you are in a “weightless” space that has lost definition but is full of meaning.

When gravity disappears, everything will begin to float, collide, react, stick, and eventually everything will merge. In the long history, there has never been a shortage of reactants. What is lacking are those catalytic substances that can make everything inextricably connected. Whether it is a barn carrying human food or a barn for spiritual food, they all react closely under the catalysis of space. Countless singular points burst out here, extending into infinite multi-dimensional spaces, constantly changing. It is the meaning that space gives to this building.
