Mombasa CBD has experienced significant transformations from its initial beginnings as a sea port to its growth into an administrative, institutional and economic centre. Despite these, most of its potential is underutilized with low rise structures in congested plots. This is especially the case along Mwembe Tayari road which is currently needs to be redeveloped into a mixed use development.

The main aspects of the project will be:
