双西绿道位于杭州西湖风景名胜区，设计以山、水、林、城为载体，有效串联了动植物园、灵隐寺、城西休闲公园、西溪东岳庙等多处景点。改善了老东岳和马家坞的社区人居环境，项目建成后游客量大幅提升，带动沿线社区商铺经济收入，让市民感受到“绿水青山，就是金山银山”。

The Shuangxi Greenway is located in the West Lake Scenic Area of Hangzhou, showcasing a sophisticated design that seamlessly integrates mountains, lakes, forests, and urban spaces. This trail effectively connects numerous attractions, such as the Hangzhou Zoo and Botanical Garden, Lingyin Temple, West City Leisure Park, and the Xixi Dongyue Temple. Not only has it enhanced the living conditions of the surrounding communities, specifically the areas of Laodongyue and Majiawu, but it has also substantially increased tourist flow. This boost has spurred economic growth for shops along the route, further emphasizing the value of environmental conservation and sustainable development, truly embodying the philosophy that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.”

绿道总述 Project Overview 项目作为联系杭州西湖-西溪的绿色纽带，建设范围还涉及到西湖风景名胜区，如何与世界文化遗产相容共生，是设计中面临的最大挑战。绿道线路需穿过墓葬群和居民社区，还要翻越高差 250 米山坡，通过数字化选线，多为视角打磨，破除周边环境不利影响，将杭城山水尽显眼前。

The project, serving as a green link connecting the West Lake and Xixi Wetland in Hangzhou, encompasses the West Lake Scenic Area. The biggest challenge in the design lies in how to achieve compatibility and coexistence with the world cultural heritage. The greenway route needs to traverse burial grounds and residential communities, while also ascending slopes with an elevation difference of 250 meters. Through digital route selection and multiple perspectives refinement, the project has overcome the adverse impact of the surrounding environment, bringing the natural beauty of Hangzhou’s mountains and waters into full view.

绿道演绎 Design effect 1. 实现双西联动，完善西湖、西溪游览体系；

Achieving the dual linkage of West Lake and Xixi Wetland, enhancing the sightseeing system of both area.

双西绿道实现从湖边走向林间，从林间走上湿地，5 公里的绿道，可赏西湖、观西溪、听禅音、瞰杭城。漫步于双西绿道之上，处处是风景、步步有文化，该工程实现了“双西联动”，完善西湖西溪游览体系，彰显历史与现实交汇、自然与人文交融。

The Shuangxi Greenway connects the lakeside to the forest, and then leads to the wetland. This 5-kilometer greenway offers a panoramic view of the West Lake, Xixi Wetland, Buddhist chanting, and a bird’s-eye view of Hangzhou City. Every step along this greenway is a journey through scenic landscapes and rich cultural heritage. This project successfully realizes the “dual linkage of West Lake and Xixi Wetland “, optimizing the tourism system, and highlighting the convergence of history and reality, as well as the fusion of nature and humanities.

2. 巧借山水，多维视角呈现杭城生态和文化

Ingeniously leveraging the natural landscape, presenting Hangzhou’s ecology and culture from multiple perspectives

利用数字选型，虚拟与现实的多维视角打磨，构建出杭州最佳视野的观景平台，长约 100 米的纳福云台。东可观水光潋滟的西湖，西可赏一曲溪流一曲烟的西溪，南可望钟灵毓秀的玉皇山，北可看文教组团发展与变化。从“三面云山一面城”到“三面云山映入城”，杭城美景尽收眼底。同时，该平台也是观看日出和日落的绝佳去处。

Utilizing digital modeling and the refinement of virtual and reality perspectives, a viewing platform that offers the best vistas of Hangzhou has been constructed. The approximately 100-meter-long Nafu Cloud Terrace offers panoramic views of the shimmering West Lake to the east, the misty Xixi Wetland to the west, the picturesque Jade Emperor Mountain to the south, and the evolving cultural and educational cluster to the north. From “mountains and clouds on three sides, city on one” to “mountains and clouds embracing the city on three sides,” the beauty of Hangzhou is fully captured. Additionally, this platform serves as an excellent spot to witness the sunrise and sunset.

3. 精细化设计，轻量化施工，严苛化保护

Refined design, lightweight construction, and rigorous protection measures

秉承“最生态、最景观、最文化、最休闲、最安全”理念，确保不碰伤一棵树，一损坏一块石，不外运一锹土，因地制宜进行绿道选型，采用无标准化设计，与施工紧密结合，钢结构单体重量均控制在 2T 以内，全部采用螺栓链接，避免因明火给景区造成安全隐患。我们用绣花的手法，将绿道嵌于西湖景区之中，与周边山水相融共生，为杭城景区增添风采。

we adhere to the principles of “most ecological, most scenic, most cultural, most leisurely, and most safe,” to ensure not to harm a single tree, damage a single stone, or remove any soil. We tailor the greenway selection to the local conditions, adopting a non-standardized design that is closely integrated with construction. The individual weight of steel structures is controlled within 2 tons, and all are bolted together to avoid potential safety hazards caused by open flames in the scenic area. We employ a delicate approach, embedding the greenway into the West Lake scenic area, harmoniously coexisting with the surrounding landscape, adding charm to the scenic spots of Hangzhou.

4. 完善旅游体系，带动区域发展

Improving the tourism system to drive regional development

双西绿道与桃源岭绿道、北高峰绿道构成“十”字型游线路网，有效串联了植物园、灵隐寺、城西休闲公园、西溪东岳庙等多处景点。该项目不仅改善老东岳和马家坞的社区人居环境，项目建成后游客量大幅提升，还带动沿线社区商铺经济收入，让市民感受到“绿水青山，就是金山银山”。目前是杭州最火爆的网红打卡地，也被誉为杭州的“天空之境”。

The Shuangxi Greenway, together with the Taoyuan Ridge Greenway and the Beigao Peak Greenway, forms a cross-shaped travel route network, effectively connecting multiple scenic spots such as the Botanical Garden, Lingyin Temple, Chengxi Leisure Park, and Xixi Dongyue Temple. This project not only improves the living environment of the communities in Lao Dongyue and Majiawu, but also significantly increases the number of visitors after completion, driving economic income for shops along the route and allowing citizens to experience that “green mountains and clear waters are indeed mountains of gold and silver”. It is currently Hangzhou’s most popular Internet-famous photo spot, hailed as the ‘Sky Mirror’ of the city.
