Project Concept

To achieve social and economic development, the need to revive Alexandria's heritage,protect the identity from fading, in addition to the lack of local markets existed in the areaand encouraging workers. Design a local Souq that serves all groups, especially thelow-income group. The Souq targets residents of residential areas concentrated around theSouq on the same land and residents of the Al-Matar, Al-Khashab and Al-Awaid areas.Souq's ventilation depends on natural ventilation and creating a natural shedding systemover the pedestrian walkway.
