Project Description
After the spread of the Corona virus, the global trend has become to prevent transmission and build treatment facilities to accommodate large numbers of patients.
The location of the hospital overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in northern Egypt was chosen to bring new spirit to patients and an invitation to optimism.
An expression of the idea of protecting the turtle's strong cover from external factors..
In addition to designing green spaces and skylights to inspire optimism in patients and not lose hope for recovery.
The 300 bed hospital is being built with diagnostic and treatment facilities, including an emergency department, a large outpatient clinic, laboratory and radiology departments.
Plus multiple courtyards To the surgical department and intensive care units.
It is a model of sustainability, responsive to the needs and settings of patients.
The hospital will also have support spaces for families to stay while patients recover. In addition to the residences of doctors and nurses, a library with all medical books, and a restaurant serving visitors.
The design was influenced by “color psychology” and the use of cheerful colors that give a sense of spaciousness, such as color (white). The building will include 6 courts to deliver light to all areas of the building and Circulation of cold and hot air,
strengthen natural ventilation
and adjusts the temperature.
On the other hand, to achieve the aspect of sustainability, a solar glass cover was made to exploit the solar energy and convert it into electricity used by the building.
