THE CAVE HOUSE
Grotte di Catullo is the ruins of a Roman villa which was built at the end of the 1st century BC at the northernmost end of the peninsula of Sirmione on the southern shore of Lake Garda. The task was to interact with acheological remains, and the idea was to use the traces of historical villa to create new house. The Cave House has two main levels, one of them is excavated to use more of the remains brick surface. The used materials and shapes are inspired by place.
