What is the The vertical village ?

 Vertical Village is a futuristic living space proposal, which provides solutions to a future  epidemic.

 Vertical Village provides safe and healthy living spaces and integrates people with nature and the surrounding environment.

Project Idea:

design Vertical Village with biophilic design. Which supports physical and mental health in a fair and accessible way, is to evaluate the interaction with a healthy environment and to develop design proposals in this context. As a method, post-pandemic requirements, behaviors, and spatial scales are examined through a model in terms of biophilic design, and suggestions are made for the new normal by researching biophilic elements. The biophilic design provides the potential to use nature, daylight, air, and vitality as design elements to improve the quality of spaces and support the experiences of societies.

What are the reasons for choosing the project ?

 The current COVID-19 crisis has revealed an important fact, which is that residential buildings are not only related to their function and beauty, but are related to the participation and health of their residents.

 COVID-19 showed us of the housing dilemma and the issue of housing interdependence with nature.

 COVID-19 showed us the importance of the window living to communicate with the external environment. “Step out of the box and through the window”

 COVID-19 made crowded places a threat. In determining that disease spreads rapidly in enclosed, crowded spaces, notions of social distance and isolation have been a part of our lives. Social relationships, nutrition, and physical activity habits changed during this period

GALALA CITY: The project will be established in the city of Galala, which is a new city under construction and development located on the Galala plateau.

Area: 29.400 m2 ( 7 acre )

The structural ratio of the project: 30%.
