The World of Seas is a television program for children with Down syndrome. It is an educational and entertaining show aimed at enhancing and developing their cognitive skills and addressing learning difficulties.

That takes them on a journey through the depths of the sea and then they play  educational games.

ينقسم البرنامج إلى فقرتين. في الفقرة الأولى، يستمع الأطفال إلى فيلم وثائقي عبر شاشة مثبتة في السقف، يحكي للأطفال عن عالم البحار والكائنات البحرية بطريقة مشوقة وسهلة، تتناسب مع قدراتهم الذهنية.

The program is divided into two segments. In the first segment, children watch a documentary on a ceiling-mounted screen that tells them about the world of seas and marine creatures in an engaging and simple way, tailored to their cognitive abilities.

اللعبة الأولى عبارة عن بلورات تفاعلية ثلاثية الأبعاد. تظهر على شاشة البلورة أجزاء من الفيلم الوثائقي الذي تم الاستماع إليه من قبل، ويتفاعل الأطفال مع الشاشة الموجودة في اللعبة. تظهر أسئلة على الشاشة ويضغط الطفل للإجابة على الأسئلة التي يتم طرحها. توفر هذه اللعبة تفاعل الطفل مع الكائنات المتحركة، مما يعزز تنمية قدراته الذهنية ويساعد في تثبيت المعلومات التي تم الاستماع إليها.

The first game consists of interactive 3D crystals. On the crystal screen, segments of the previously viewed documentary are displayed, and children interact with the game screen. Questions appear on the screen, and the child presses to answer the questions posed. This game facilitates the child’s interaction with moving creatures, enhancing their cognitive abilities and reinforcing the information they have learned.

اللعبة الثانية هي مركب، ويكون الطفل هو القبطان. يأخذ الطفل المركب إلى البحر عن طريق الشاشات واستخدام نظارات الواقع الافتراضي (VR)، مما يمكنه من اكتشاف الكائنات البحرية عن قرب والتفاعل معها بصورة أسهل.

The second game involves a boat where the child acts as the captain. Using screens and VR headsets, the child navigates the boat into the sea, allowing them to discover marine creatures up close and interact with them more easily.

اللعبة الأخيرة عبارة عن كروت تفاعلية موجودة على الأرض، تتكون من 9 كروت، كل 3 كروت متشابهة. يتم اللعب عن طريق الضغط بالقدم على الكارت فينعكس للوجه الذي يحتوي على صورة الكائن البحري. على الطفل تذكر أشكال الكروت ليتم تجميع كل 3 كروت متشابهة. تساعد هذه اللعبة الطفل على تنشيط ذاكرته وزيادة تركيزه، وبالتالي تنمية قدراته الذهنية وسهولة التعلم.

The final game consists of interactive cards placed on the ground, totaling 9 cards with every 3 cards being identical. The game is played by stepping on a card, revealing the face with the image of a marine creature. The child must remember the shapes of the cards to match each set of 3 identical cards. This game helps the child to enhance memory, increase concentration, and thus develop cognitive abilities and facilitate learning.
