"From a Square to a beautiful design: My College Restaurant Project" (flame concept)

In the bustling world of college life, where creativity knows no bounds, I, a determined architecture student, embarked on a journey that would become the defining moment of my second term. It all began with a simple square sketch, a blank canvas waiting to be transformed into a restaurant.

At the outset, my sketch was nothing more than a basic square shape. It lacked character, charm, and soul. But that's the beauty of design; it's a journey of refinement and evolution. With a burning desire to create something extraordinary, I started making adjustments. Slowly, lines curved and angles softened, until the shape started to resonate with my vision.

The design had to be both aesthetically pleasing and functional, and I aimed to achieve the perfect balance. The entrance was the heart of the design, branching into three distinct paths. One led to a cozy café area, where students could unwind over coffee and conversation. Another path led to the vibrant main dining hall, where culinary delights awaited. The third path guided guests to the restrooms, offering convenience without disrupting the ambiance.

The terrace was more than just an outdoor space; it was an experience. Positioned to offer a breathtaking view, it beckoned diners to enjoy their meals while immersing themselves in the beauty of the surroundings. It was designed to be versatile, accommodating both intimate dinners and lively gatherings.

The kitchen, though challenging, was the soul of the restaurant. Carefully planned and executed, it was the heartbeat of the establishment. Every detail, from the layout of appliances to the workflow of the chefs, was meticulously considered. The result was a space where culinary artistry could flourish.

With the functional aspects in place, it was time to infuse the restaurant with personality. As a final touch, I added trees and landscape units around the restaurant, connecting it with nature and providing a serene backdrop. The parking lot was designed with inclusivity in mind, featuring two designated spaces for handicapped individuals, ensuring that everyone could enjoy the restaurant without barriers.

With each stroke of my pen and every line on paper, my college restaurant project came to life. It was a journey of transformation, from a humble square to a place that would bring people together over shared meals and memories.
