Baccio Pontelli is a Florentine architect of the XV century, a fortifier, a designer of the Sistine chapel project, a cabinetmaker and a master of inlaying technique. His wood pieces inspired us to create the model of wooden wall panels named respectively. The project was implemented together with Juanny Barcelo Borges, a designer. There was another impetus for the reinterpretation of Pontelli's inlaying work and architecture in the modern context. It was given by Salvatori, an iconic Italian brand that works with marble and natural stones. As a result of this synthesis of Italian classics and modern vision, a completely new design was born – a Pontelli decorative panel. It consists of pairs of elements that mirror each other that create a strong composition.

The Pontelli wood panel is simple and yet expressive, eco-friendly, and easy to customize in terms of a colour scheme and module location. All these advantages are key in the contemporary interior
