项目背景 Background of the project 项目位于拥有数百年历史的古渔村，宋元时期从中原南迁至此，以海为生。民居、教育、宗庙、商业街自成一体，衍生出保卫村民安全的少林五祖拳，在中原族氏基础上形成了文化深厚的闽南特有民俗。自明代起先辈们远渡重洋下南洋，一部分留在当地经商成为华侨。一部分衣锦还乡，用红砖红瓦建起一座座精美考究的民居，院落留存至今。

The project is located in an ancient fishing village with a history of hundreds of years. During the Song and Yuan Dynasties, people moved south from the Central Plains to live by the sea. Residential, education, ancestral temple, commercial street self-contained, derived from the Shaolin Wu Zu Quan to protect the safety of villagers, on the basis of the Central Plains clan formed a unique folk culture in southern Fujian. Since the Ming Dynasty, the ancestors sailed across the ocean to Southeast Asia, and some stayed in the local business to become overseas Chinese. Part of the returning home, with red brick red tile built a seat exquisite elegant residential, courtyard preserved.

如今这里已成为厦门第二大城中村。随着经济发展，周边作为工业区，人口剧增，为获取最大利益，巷陌变成“一线天”，院落成了“握手楼”。

Today, it is the second largest urban village in Xiamen. With the economic development of the surrounding area as an industrial area, the population has soared. In order to obtain the maximum benefit, the alley has become a “thin line of sky,” and the courtyard has become a “handshake building.”

设计愿景

Design Vision

这是一个村民自筹的商业综合体项目，包含商业空间、配套公寓、酒店、办公和毗邻的宗族祠堂。我们希望建立更加开放和兼容的场域，榕树下、宗庙前。夏纳凉，冬晒日，能嘻闹，可赏玩。幼有所养，老有所依。处处充满闽南味，可以找到乡愁的场景。

This is a villager self-funded commercial complex project, including commercial space, supporting apartments, hotels, offices and adjacent clan ancestral hall. We hope to build a more open and inclusive site, under the banyan tree, in front of the ancestral temple. Summer cool, winter sun day, can play, can enjoy. When you are young, you have someone to raise, and when you get old, someone to rely on. Everywhere is full of Minnan flavor, you can find the scene of nostalgia.

设计策略 Design strategy

拆除宗族祠堂与商业广场之间的围墙，让民俗活动为商业空间赋能带动人气，利用城市广场作为闽南文化的推广载体。

Demolish the wall between the clan ancestral hall and the commercial square, so that folk activities can empower the commercial space to drive popularity, and use the city square as the promotion carrier of Minnan culture.

共同缔造 Build together

在项目设计之前，村书记跟我们说：“现在大家生活水平是提高了，但我们小时候的记忆却回不去了，没有乡愁了。希望你们能给村里一个充满文化气息和活力的闽南味会客厅。”村委会组织多次与村民现场走访交流活动。

Before the project was designed, the village secretary told us: “Now everyone’s living standard is improved, but our childhood memories can not go back, no homesickness. I hope you can create a Minnan living room full of culture and vitality for the village.” The village committee organized several on-site visits and exchange activities with villagers.

传承开放创新融合

Inheritance, openness, innovation and integration

我们立足于闽南以海为生的特质，以海浪、书卷等作为设计意象，以闽南传统民居的红砖、红瓦、原石、花岗岩等在地材料建造。或隆起成为可坐可卧的城市家具，或徐徐铺开成为路面，或翘起成为书写诗句的篇章。

We are based on the characteristics of Minnan living by the sea, using waves, scrolls and other design images, and building with local materials such as red bricks, red tiles, raw stones and granite of traditional houses in Minnan. Or uplift into a sitting or lying urban furniture, or slowly spread out into the road, or tilt into the chapter of writing poetry.

(此项目旨在)唤醒人们对海洋文化、中国传统文化美的觉知，激发人们对地域文化的想象。

This project aims to awaken people’s awareness of the ocean culture, of the Chinese traditional culture beauty, and stimulate people’s imagination of regional culture.

项目综述

Overview of the project

在村委会、热心村民和设计师团队的协力推进下，最终将场地建成一个具有互动性、开放性、灵活性、受在地文化和活动感染的区域。在整个场地中，我们设置了可以提供树荫的大树、树下的座椅和一些独有非物质文化元素，宗庙前广场也成为村民喜宴、每年一届的宗族恳请大会、五祖拳习练展演等等各种文化和展览活动预留发生的空间。为外来务工人员了解当地民俗活动提供了一个窗口，为传统文化活态传承提供源源不断的活力。

With the concerted efforts of the village committee, enthusiastic villagers and the designer team, the site was finally built into an interactive, open, flexible area infected by local culture and activities. In the whole site, we set up trees that can provide shade, seats under the trees and some unique intangible cultural elements. The square in front of the ancestral temple has also become a reserved space for villagers’ wedding banquet, annual clan appeal meeting, Wuzu Quan practice performance and other cultural and exhibition activities. It provides a window for migrant workers to understand the local folk activities, and provides a steady stream of vitality for the living inheritance of traditional culture.
