The task of this project was to reconstruct a central square at Slavytuch city, which was build for workers of Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant and their families after the nuclear accident on the 26 April 1986.

The square is situated at the intersection of eight city regions which symbolised national unity during the disaster. Besides, the square has a straight connection from each region.

Проанализировав потоки людей через площадь, была создана схема наиболее удобного передвижения. Основываясь на этих данных было сформировано зонирование площади. Новые зоны органично вписались и дополнили уже существующие. Появились детская зона, амфитеатр а также новая зона фонтанов.

Scheme of the most comfortable pedestrian traffic was create after people flow analysis. Due to this research, the square zones were formed. New zones joined and completed the actual ones. A children zone, an amphiteatre and a new fountain zone were appeared.

The park is made of modules. We used a script to regulate them into a structure of the park. Thus, we got many different variations of the structure qucklier than doing the same by hand.

In addition, in this way, you can quickly get information, for example, on the percentage of greening the territory. The modular structure also ensures that the modules can be replaced if necessary.​​​​​​​

After some manipulations with the script we got site plan.

The amphitheatre zone developed around the being monument which is a park dominant.

The fountain zone is a composition of modular fountains with lightning and recreation in the tree shadow.

The labyrinth zone presents modules which are spreding around the old fountain and formed into a system of passes similar to a labirynth. A voxel tree which supports a park theme is also situated here.

There is an instalation of five edged voxel star at the intersection point of the eight regions. To support a city symbolic, the star has a crimson colour which is the same as the city flag's one.
