Swarm Tower
Let’s ……. login the Digital World ……. Enjoy the Journey.
This project is part of my thesis project.
The main concept of this project is to design the behavior of swarm agents to make different form alternatives for the tower, based on footprint dimensions, total height, and creating three-dimensional courts in its form. A coded algorithm is created using grasshopper based on the formal framework to reach these form alternatives.
The formal framework created in the thesis to apply swarm intelligence in formal architectural design. It is based on three main processes, which are
defining, simulating, and evaluation.

Defining process
In the Defining process, design inputs are assigned, and swarm agents are defined.
Simulation process
In the Simulation process, Swarm agents are simulated according to swarm mathematical rules: alignment, separation, and cohesion, integrated with swarm viz algorithm.
Design Alternatives
Different form alternatives for the tower are created to find the optimum form.
Evaluation process
In the Evaluation process, design alternatives are evaluated to reach
the optimum alternative. A feedback is produced which is yes or no. “Yes” means that the result is accepted, and the process ended. “No” means that the result isn’t accepted, and the simulation process starts over again with other parameters’ values to reach the optimum solution.
Convert into Mass
The optimum alternative is converted into mass.
