PHOTO DIARY / KYOTO KYOCERA MUSEUM OF ART
The sakura trees lining the river, along with the mountain in the background on my walk to the museum, were indeed beautiful. But the sun had also been unforgiving that day, practically burning my forehead off. Which is why I was especially grateful to find the main entrance, well-shaded at the lower level, as I walked down the slope. This 'glass ribbon' really set the tone for the interior you're stepping into. And for the next hour or so, I would be trying to capture the lovely curves and corners of the museum (and taking two trips to the atrium — because you just have to).
Taken with Lumix DMC-FX100 digicam, edited on Lightroom.
