Shakespeare Grove House is the work of B.E Architecture and is located in the historic district of Hawthorn. The project cleverly blends modern design with the traditional style of the surrounding Victorian architecture. Its design is inspired by the Mid-century modernism of Europe and Asia.

该住宅由两个截然不同的部分组成，通过细节处理和材料选择的严谨性得到统一和加强。房屋的前部更加正式、装饰性强，营造出一种亲密的体验；而后部则更加简约，庆祝细节、豪华材料和共享空间。两部分都展示了精湛的工艺水平。例如，家中的高装饰性镶木天花板和用深色巧克力色毛毡覆盖的木质墙面，营造出一种包裹感。

The house is made up of two distinct parts, which are unified and enhanced by the meticulousness of the detail treatment and the choice of materials. The front of the house is more formal and decorative, creating an intimate experience; The latter is more minimalist, celebrating details, luxurious materials and shared Spaces. Both parts demonstrate a superb level of craftsmanship. For example, the homes high decorative wood-paneled ceilings and wooden walls covered with dark chocolate felt create a sense of wrapping.
