General description of the object

AB stands for Aurora Borealis, from Latin-Northern Lights

The sign will be interesting for all children and adults. You can interact with an art object and create with your own hands not only a unique drawing, but also a new color. And not just one, but very different - depending on the lighting and from which side you are looking at them. The installation will attract the attention of new visitors. The object can be used as a location for bright, beautiful photos for social networks. The coating has a rainbow effect.

Since the main time is winter and there are few sunny days – the idea arose to use holographic elements to create dynamics and optical illusions. So you can artificially create a rainbow and decorate the area with bright light.

In the cold, a beautiful winter pattern is formed on the surface of the elements.During the daytime, the elements reflect the natural sunlight by refracting and creating a rainbow around.At night and cloudy times, the sign is illuminated by the lighting built into the structure.

The holographic effect is a structural color and is often found in nature - in the coating of a mother-of-pearl shell, in the plumage of a peacock. Their structure consists of tiny nanoparticles that refract light into "colored" waves and reflect them at different angles. This is how the effect of color difference from different viewing angles is achieved.

The metal frame will be the most reliable, durable and resistant to external influences. The end-to-end design solution makes the sign resistant to wind loads. The object is placed on a metal or stone base.

The size of the object may have large dimensions, but this option takes into account existing restrictions. The frame structure consists of 3 parts:

1) Guides – The base supporting the other parts of the object consists of metal profiles (the diameter is determined during the detailed development of the project).2) Metal mesh-attached to the guides, lightweight construction, vandal-proof.3) Holographic elements are the aesthetic component of an art object (the outer shell), mobile, translucent, refract light, the shape is chosen for safe interaction with them.

Materials

The main material is metal, because using wood as a frame will not be durable.Outer shell material options:

Plexiglass is safe. The color is transparent with an iridescent iridescence on the surface, or colored glass. The surface is smooth, light-transmitting effect, reflective.

Metal-will not let light through itself, sharp-is dangerous. Color - with a holographic coating. The surface is smooth, mirror-like. It has high strength and wear resistance

Special visual properties arise as a result of the reflection of light from a metal surface with a pattern: it dynamically "changes" when a person moves, changes in the intensity of the radiation or the location of the light source. The varnish coating of the material is used, as a rule, for its operation in outdoor conditions, for example, for outdoor advertising. The surface treated with varnish is resistant to ultraviolet radiation and atmospheric influences.

Wood – will not let in light, will not reflect light. Color – painting the surface with chameleon paint. Easily operated. The surface is smooth with edge treatment, matte (glossy when using varnish).

There are several types of holograms in the colorist. The main ones are the Northern Lights or Chameleon – a bright, rich effect. More neutral – Mother-of-pearl. It is much smaller and lighter than the chameleon.
