Cortez

Cortez es un clásico bar de vinos y buena gastronomía en la ciudad de La Plata. En 2017 sus dueños decidieron dar impulso al patio del restaurante como una nueva y atractiva unidad de negocio dentro del mismo proyecto dando lugar en este caso a la cerveza artesanal y la coctelería, y nos llamaron a trabajar en la búsqueda del concepto y el diseño interior del mismo.

Usamos el fuerte carácter español de su naming como inspiración para poder desarrollar una propuesta de identidad espacial que reuniera el concepto de patio español con los significantes materiales y conceptuales ligados a las cervecerías artesanales.

De allí surge El Patio de Cortez, con sus texturas moriscas, neones un poco de barra de bareto y otro poco de New York style, y mucho espacio para disfrutar un buen tapeo.

Cortez is a classic wine bar with good gastronomy in the city of La Plata. In 2017, its owners decided to promote the restaurant courtyard as a new and attractive business unit within the same project, based in this case to craft beer and cocktails, and called us to work in search of its concept and interior design.

We used the strong Spanish character of its naming as inspiration to be able to develop a proposal for spatial identity that would bring together the concept of the Spanish patio with the material and conceptual signifiers linked to craft breweries.

From there comes El Patio de Cortez, with its moorish textures, neons with a little bit of spanish baretos and a little bit of New York style, and a large space to enjoy a good tapas.
