The monument expresses the drowning of Alexandria in an attempt to partially embody the moment of escape from the drowning. It is also considered a center for gathering people and their communication together.

Concept :

The annihilation is not a vague emptiness devoid of features, but rather it is the basis for our understanding of the materiality of the mass. Existence does not appear except by its opposite. The emptiness is a universe, and the passage from one universe to another is through it. It is the goal and the means. It is the link and the gateway from one world to another in the case of a comprehensive view. Either by scrutiny, we find that the gate or the stage. Transitionism in itself is a void and a different world that has its limitations and also has its own characteristics, as it is the prelude to a transition from one world to another and from one state to another, so the monument represents the space connecting the two worlds of Alexandria before and after drowning in an indication of survival and access to safety, which is expressed by its connection to the broader common space between all worlds and  heaven .
