Beneath the hills, jade streams flow; Amongst the green, lotus in peace grows.

项目处于大径山乡村国家公园范围内，两岸山水秀美，人文荟萃，自然元素描绘着禅境。涉及河道全长约 10.8 公里，整治面积约 9.86 公顷。通过提取禅茶文化的自然元素，以沿线 6 座堰坝为载体，将“瓦、石、竹、茶、莲、溪”等元素进行提取和演变，结合禅修四部曲——“遇禅-寻禅-悟禅-见禅”，以堰问禅，打造属于北苕溪的特色堰坝，让游客体验到不一样的禅茶文化与堰坝之美。

The project is located within the boundaries of the Dajingshan Rural National Park, with beautiful landscapes on both sides of the river, a rich collection of culture, and natural elements depicting a Zen realm. The total length of the involved river is about 10.8 kilometers, and the remediation area is about 9.86 hectares. By extracting the natural elements of Zen Tea culture, and using the six weirs along the river as the carrier, the elements of “Tile, Stone, Bamboo, Tea, Lotus, and Stream” are extracted and evolved. Combined with the four stages of Zen meditation—”Encountering Zen, Seeking Zen, Realizing Zen, and Perceiving Zen”—we explore Zen through the dams, creating unique weirs for the North Tiao River, allowing visitors to experience a different Zen tea culture and the beauty of the weirs.

Encountering Zen in Ancient City: First Encounter – Welcoming Guests at the Weir, Meeting Zen at the Stone Gate

位于潘板桥村集镇大桥上游至双溪绿道起点，靠近小古城村，临近“径山花海”和“古城春晓”，是禅茶之旅的第一步，故为“古城遇禅·初相遇”。

延续小古城遗址的元素，提取“石”语言，通过“客堰迎宾”、“石门遇禅”、“禅茶之窗”等景观场所打造禅茶之旅初印象。

Located upstream from the Town Bridge in Panbanqiao Village to the starting point of the Shuangxi Greenway, near Xiaogucheng Village, and in proximity to the “Jingshan Sea of Flowers” and “Spring Dawn of the Ancient City”, this area marks the first step of the Zen Tea journey, and is thus aptly named “Encountering Zen in Ancient City: First Encounter”. Continuing with the elements of the Xiaogucheng ancient city site, it extracts the “stone” as the design language and creates the first impression of the Zen Tea journey through landscape spots such as “Welcoming Guests at the Weir”, “Meeting Zen at the Stone Gate”, and “Window of Zen and Tea”.

竹里寻禅·自寻觅——夹堰追鱼、茶台听曲

Seeking Zen in Bamboo Grove: Personal Exploration – Chasing Fish at the Weir, Listening to Music at the Tea Table

位于双溪绿道起点至竹海路，途径“山水罗星”和“双溪漂流”，是禅茶之旅的第二步。以“茶、竹”自然要素来打造竹海景观及滨水景观，夜晚利用灯光形成竹筏漂流的梦幻山水画效果，与周边的梦幻双溪遥相呼应，坐在竹筏上就仿佛人在画中游。通过“竹径寻禅”、“曲上寻禅”、“茶台寻禅”、“追鱼寻禅”、“夜游寻禅”达到不同空间、时间的寻禅体验。

Situated from the starting point of Shuangxi Greenway to Zhuhai Road, passing through “Idyllic Landscape of Luoxing” and “Shuangxi Drifting”, this is the second step of the Zen Tea journey. The natural elements of “Tea and Bamboo” are used to create the sea of bamboo landscape and the waterside scenery. At night, lighting is utilized to form a dreamy landscape along the bamboo raft drifting route, echoing the dreamlike Shuangxi in the surroundings. Sitting on the bamboo raft feels as if one is touring within a fascinated painting. Through “Seeking Zen in the Bamboo Path”, “Seeking Zen in the Melody”, “Seeking Zen at the Tea Platform”, “Seeking Zen by Chasing Fish”, and “Seeking Zen at Night”, different spatial and temporal experiences of Zen seeking are achieved.

林泉悟禅·长思索——砻糠观趣

Contemplating Zen in the Grove and Spring: Long Reflection – Appreciating the Charm of Longkang

位于双溪镇至仕村大桥上游 100m，原有天然浴场之称。“羽泉著经”，是禅茶之旅的第三步。游客通过一路寻觅，发现真正的禅即是童真，悟出了禅趣。结合“溪”的自然元素，通过茶田和流水的形式，突出嬉戏的功能，加入水枪、滑梯、戏水池等儿童玩乐设施，通过“童趣悟禅”及“飞瀑悟禅”，打造充满童趣的互动性堰坝。

Located from the Shuangxi Town to 100 meters upstream of the Shicun Bridge, this area was originally known as a natural bathing spot. “Sage’s Spring: The Scripture of Tea” marks the third step of the Zen Tea journey. Through a route of exploration, visitors discover that true Zen is akin to childlike innocence, realizing the interest of Zen. Integrating the natural element of “Stream”, this area highlights the recreational functions through tea fields and flowing water, and adds children’s play facilities such as water guns, slides, and wading pools. Through “Contemplating Zen through Childlike Fun” and “Contemplating Zen through the Waterfall”, an interactive weir of childlike joy is created.

兰坪见禅·小空明——莲花顿悟

Seeing Zen in Lanping: Ethereal Tranquility – Enlightenment on the Lotus

位于双溪大桥下游 100m 至家田桥，途径“兰坪茗芗”，是禅茶之旅的第四步，也是小径山与大径山的连接桥梁。通过“莲花见禅”的场景来诠释禅茶之旅第四部。采用莲花形式，莲瓣一层一层叠下水过之时，犹如一朵莲花，绽放在河道中，还可供游客踩水游玩。

Located 100 meters downstream of Shuangxi Bridge to Jiatian Bridge, passing by “Tea Country of Lanping”, this area marks the fourth step of the Zen Tea journey and also the connection between Xiaojingshan and Dajingshan, with its significance being interpreted through the scene of “Seeing Zen on the Lotus”. It adopts the form of a lotus as the design language, with the water flowing over the layered petals, resembling a lotus blooming in the river, and also serves as a place for tourists to play in the water.

社会意义 Social Significance 径山镇近年一直致力于“微改造、精提升”，以“绣花针”精神打造“高颜值”堰坝，展现了径山的禅茶山水风韵。在项目改造过程中，设计以人性化设计、精细化提升，尽可能满足周边居民以及游客的休闲娱乐需求，将原本的农田水利灌溉堰坝景观化打造，同时保留了径山元素，得到国内主流媒体大力宣传和当地百姓的广泛赞誉，更进一步激发了径山文旅新消费潜力，促进旅游业多元发展，为游客创造了更丰富便利的游玩体验，让美丽乡村建设越来越精致，越来越好玩。

In recent years, Jingshan Town has been committed to “micro-renovation and refined improvement,” creating “high-aesthetic” weirs with the spirit of “embroidery needles,” showcasing the charm of Jingshan’s Zen Tea landscape. During the renovation process, the design focuses on humanized design and refined enhancement, trying to meet the leisure and entertainment needs of both surrounding residents and tourists as much as possible. The original farmland water conservancy irrigation weir has been landscaped, while retaining elements of Jingshan. It has been widely publicized by domestic mainstream media, and praised by the local people. It has further stimulated the new consumption potential of Jingshan’s cultural and tourism, promoted the diversified development of the tourism industry, created a richer and more convenient experience for tourists, and made the construction of beautiful villages more and more exquisite and interesting.
