中新广州知识城迳下城市景区项目创造了绿水涌碧、青山叠翠，山明水媚、诗意盎然的画境。面对美好的大自然有两种创作态度，一个是“隐于林”，一个是“秀于林”，我们采用的是隐于林的态度，弱化建筑的存在。项目创作的过程就是捕捉空间与自然间的诗意，同时追求山水自然的在地性特质。设计强调与自然环境产生共鸣和呼应，最终呈现宁静、优雅、朴实的建筑环境。

The Jingxia Urban Scenic Area Project of Zhongxin Guangzhou Knowledge City has created a poetic scenery with crystal water and lush mountains. There are two creative attitudes in the face of beautiful nature, one is “blanking in the forest” and the other is “showing in the forest”. We adopt the attitude of blanking in the forest and weakening the existence of the building. The process of the project is to capture the poetry between space and nature, while pursuing the local characteristics of the environment. The design emphasizes resonance and response with the natural environment, and finally presents a quiet, elegant and simple architectural environment.

The project is located in the "Hanbi Xianhu" position on the half-mountain, with a high mountain behind and left and right guards, like a jade-like pattern and vision. The surrounding environment inherits the traditional Chinese garden-making method, with winding paths leading to secluded places, forming the artistic conception of "livable, playable, walkable, and visible". You can see the hundred-mile lake and mountains and the lights of thousands of families.

The project is located in the middle of the mountain “Holding the Lake Like a Crane”, with a high mountain behind and protection from two sides, like a Chinese antique jade desk. The surrounding environment inherits the traditional Chinese gardening method, with winding paths leading to secluded places, forming the artistic conception of “livable, navigable, reachable, and visible”, looking at the lake and mountains for hundreds of miles, and seeing thousands of lights of thousands of homes.

设计优先考虑清晰的视野，摒弃尺寸较大的混凝土结构形式，采用极朴实简约的钢结构塑造高敞空间，寓传统于现代，呼应中国殿堂式的木构建筑建构逻辑。设计为最大限度消隐立柱结构，10.8 米跨度的钢结构柱宽度被控制在 18cm，突出的两翼进一步弱化柱身体量。结构梁则均衡布置，被控制在 15cm 宽，恰好接入柱两翼之内。檐口的出挑依照结构逻辑形成两个层次，呼应传统建筑的飞椽。

The design gives priority to clear vision, abandons the large concrete structure, and uses a very simple and concise steel structure to create a high and open space, integrating tradition with modernity, echoing the construction logic of Chinese temple-style wooden buildings. The design is to hide the column structure to the maximum extent. The width of the steel structure column with a span of 10.8 meters is controlled to 18cm, and the protruding cornice further weakens the column body. The structural beam is evenly arranged and controlled to 15cm wide, just connected to the two cornices of the column. The overhang of the eaves forms two levels according to the structural logic, echoing the flying rafters of traditional buildings.

屋面自带金属光泽的材质感，恒久如新。设计对工艺精度的严格要求，实现实用与审美的和谐统一。屋顶北侧设置自动开启的天窗，可有效排除室内热空气，同时透过天窗可望北山的高远。

The roof has a metallic luster and is as good as new. The design has strict requirements on process accuracy to achieve a harmonious unity of practicality and aesthetics. An automatically opened skylight is set on the north side of the roof, which can effectively remove indoor hot air, and at the same time, the height of mountain on the north can be seen through the skylight.

室内功能区域精心布局，手工的白橡木家具和吊顶，增强空间的原始温暖感和简洁性。每一处角落就是一副画卷，传递自然与生活的和谐之美，如《庄子·外篇·天道》中的“朴素而天下莫能与之争美”。

The indoor functional areas are carefully arranged, and the handmade white oak furniture and ceiling enhance the original warmth and simplicity of the space. Every corner is a painting, convey the harmonious beauty of nature and life. As Zhuangzi says, “to be simple and pure is to be the perfection of excellence in the world. ”

当置身于空间之中，四周通透的玻璃将景色毫无保留地映入眼帘。在阳光的照耀下，湖面波光鳞鳞，闪烁着五光十色的光环，近望文心阁，远眺水中堤，让身心得到彻底的放松。

When you are in the space, the transparent glass around will bring the scenery into your eyes without reservation. Under the sunshine, the lake surface is shimmering with colorful halos. Looking at Wenxin Pavilion nearby and the embankment in the water in the distance, you can relax your body and mind completely.

建筑隐于天然树林之间，基座是手凿混凝土的自然状态，四周是通透的玻璃，顶部则是造型简约钢结构屋面。设计以山水自然为依托，采用最轻巧的创作手法，最终实现轻介入、轻姿态、亲自然。远眺山水间的“容膝长屋”，一切都是静的，山水、树木和建筑都只剩了轮廓，一切修饰的、鲜妍的、繁茂的都被抛弃了，流淌出的是萧疏，空淡，简远，旷逸。

The building is hidden among the natural woods. The base is in the natural state of hand-chiselled concrete, surrounded by transparent glass, and the top is a simple steel structure roof. The design is based on the natural landscape, using the lightest creative techniques, and finally achieves mild intervention, gentle gesture, and close to nature. Looking at the “Rongxi Long House” between the mountains and rivers from a distance, everything is quiet, the mountains, rivers, trees and buildings are only outlines. Anything modified, complex or flamboyant is abandoned, left gurgling the sparse, purity, simple and distant, and free.
