The intervention deals with the construction of houses and art spaces on a steep site in Northern Bandung.The owner is an artist and also a collector of antiques. Due to the needs, the design should accommodates a gallery space for the artist’s collections and also serve as a space for public exhibition. Moreover, the owner wanted to have an accessible workshop structure for guests and personal workspace in conjunction to his living space to hold private guests. The main idea is to create a castle-like complex to support the function of a dwelling space and collectibles conservation.

Die Intervention befasst sich mit dem Bau von Häusern und Kunsträumen auf einem steilen Gelände im Norden von Bandung. Der Eigentümer ist Künstler und auch Antiquitätensammler. Aufgrund der Bedürfnisse sollte der Entwurf einen Galerieraum für die Sammlungen des Künstlers beherbergen und auch als Raum für öffentliche Ausstellungen dienen. Darüber hinaus wünschte sich der Eigentümer neben seinem Wohnraum für private Gäste eine barrierefreie Werkstattstruktur für Gäste und persönlichen Arbeitsplatz. Die Hauptidee besteht darin, einen schlossähnlichen Komplex zu schaffen, der die Funktion eines Wohnraums und die Aufbewahrung von Sammlerstücken unterstützt.
