退化建筑为服装品牌 Deepmoss 设计的新办公室位于厦门高崎机场旁的一栋写字楼。这是一个集合了办公与 Showroom 的多功能空间（Deepmoss 总部办公的其中一层）。

Devolution team has designed a new office for clothing brand Deepmoss, located in an office building next to Xiamen Gaoqi Airport. This is a multifunctional space that combines office and showroom functions (one of the floors is the headquarters office of Deepmoss).

deepmoss 先前的办公空间见证了该品牌从一个工作室壮大成为如今上百人规模的服装公司的过程。很多空间功能是伴随着规模扩大而逐步增加的。因此，存在如样衣板房与办公室相邻等等诸多布局的不合理之处。所以 Deepmoss 创始人希望在这个新办公室的设计中，首先建立一套完整的空间逻辑与工作流程，从而提升部门间的沟通效率。其次，因为服装行业的特殊性，从每季的样品、物料，到员工的个人生活物品，消化和组织大量的分类收纳空间也尤为重要。

Their previous office space witnessed the brand’s growth from a studio to a clothing company with hundreds of employees today. Many spatial functions are gradually increased with the expansion of scale. Therefore, there are many unreasonable layouts, such as the sample room and the office are adjacent. Therefore, the founder of Deepmoss hopes to establish a complete set of spatial logic and workflow in the design of this new office, so as to improve the communication efficiency between departments. Secondly, because of the particularity of the clothing industry, it is also particularly important to digest and organize a large amount of classified storage space, from samples and materials for each season to employees’ personal belongings.

我们希望整个办公室的状态与 Deepmoss 传达的自然松弛相通，轻松与紧密的工作逻辑——在这两个看似冲突的东西间，找到一种平衡。

We hope that the state of the entire office is consistent with the natural relaxation conveyed by Deepmoss, and the relaxed and tight working logic – find a balance between these two seemingly conflicting things.

在前期沟通中，“不用做那么满”因此成为一个共识，比如在一面墙的尽头留出一些空隙，或一些轻盈的家具比例，让空间有一些松动和透气；又或者在地面上打水泥“补丁”，增加了材料的拼贴感也降低严肃性。

In the early stage of communication, it became a consensus that “it doesn’t need to be so full”, such as leaving some gaps at the end of a wall, or some light furniture proportions to make the space loose and breathable; or pouring cement on the ground. “Patches”, which increases the collage feel of the material and reduces the seriousness.

在保留独立办公室、财务部门隐私的同时，我们增加了设计人员工作的开放度。可移动的家具和展板、推拉门，供小型创意讨论随时开展。

While retaining the privacy of the independent office and financial department, we increased the openness of the work of designers. Movable furniture, display boards, and sliding doors allow small creative discussions to be carried out at any time.

在材料上，镶嵌在地面的来自海洋的贝类、直接从石场拉来的石方、北美松木清新的香气，呼应着这个塑造“自然的形状”的服装品牌的质地。这些设置有利于有效率的工作和放松下来两种状态并存。我们希望它既能为工作提供便利性，但当你放松下来，这个办公室又是一个令人感到舒服的地方。

In terms of materials, the shellfish from the ocean inlaid on the ground, the stone directly pulled from the stone field, and the fresh fragrance of North American pine wood echo the texture of this clothing brand that shapes the “natural shape”. These settings are conducive to the coexistence of efficient work and relaxation. We wanted it to be a convenient place to work, but also a comfortable place to relax.
