In the heart of Marylebone, London, lies the Marylebone Apartment, which was created by London-based design firm Banda. Located in one of Londons most fashionable neighbourhoods, the apartment is a perfect illustration of traditional and modern design concepts, presenting an elegant and material-rich harmonious living space.

Bandas ingenious remodeling of an otherwise poorly laid out floor plan transformed it into a comfortable three-bedroom, three-bathroom home with ample living and entertaining space. Original period details in the apartments, such as the decorative cornice, have been lovingly restored and enhanced to take on a new glow. At the same time, modern features such as wall panels and solid oak parquet floors were introduced to recall the past.

In terms of colour, Banda uses its signature soft, neutral tones, which are paired with bold textures, exemplified by the kitchens signature marble. In the selection of furniture and lighting, Banda upholds the principle of combining modern and retro, seamlessly connecting freshness and nostalgia, which has become a unique symbol of Banda. This unique design style is evident in works such as the black brass Alba Triple sconces in the kitchen, Tacchini Pigreco chairs in the dining room and custom-designed headboards made of dark wood and thin rattan in the master bedroom.
