奥尔堡动物园北极熊标识牌

This project was completed and developed during my internship at Aalborg Zoo in the fall of 2022. The following is a redesign of the existing signage in and around the polar bear enclosure in Aalborg Zoo, and how this might be changed. The new take on the signage design is more visually pleasing, informative and compelling to both adults, kids and international zoo guests. It intends to make the information more available and easy for the reader to quickly comprehend.

The old concept consisted of a singular medium-sized square sign, with small text that was difficult to read from a distance. The text was also written at a higher reading level, making it difficult for teens and children to understand. The new design is more user friendly, with more images and a calmer vibe and feel. It also blends in better into the existing exclousure design and Aalborg Zoos visual identity.
