世界岛项目的线下选址选在一个被老榕树纵向穿过的老街园区。延续原本以线上为主中古商店的轻松氛围,让来访空间的人可以真切感受到世界岛所传递的生活感。于是在空间设计上,将「The Tree Room」中古生活方式展厅由岛屿衍生,希望呈现舒服、放松的绿意岛屿氛围。空间内保留了原始的水磨石地面,盘旋交错的树木根系掩盖在水磨石地面之下,试图向上涌起,积年累月间于地面产生出数道细长蜿蜒的裂痕,也是曾经见证过不同店铺更替的老榕树的根系在地面上所留下的裂痕,每双行经这里的脚,都可以隐约感受到述说着地下根系走向的触觉,可以真正从岛屿的概念衍生,在日复一日的相处里,散发出它的自然意味。
The offline site of the “World Island” project was selected in an old street park that was crossed vertically by old banyan trees.Continuing the relaxed atmosphere of the original online and second-hand shops, people who visit the space can truly feel the sense of life conveyed by the world island. Therefore, in terms of space design, the "The Tree Room" medieval lifestyle exhibition hall was derived from the island, hoping to present a comfortable and relaxing green island atmosphere. The space retains the original terrazzo floor, the spiraling tree root system is hidden under the terrazzo ground, trying to surge upward, and over the years several slender and winding cracks have been produced on the ground, which are also the cracks left by the root system of the old banyan tree that has witnessed the replacement of different shops.
Feature planning
围绕这株榕树,将世界岛的空间结构大致分为三部分区域:享有整面落地玻璃和壁炉设计的「家的客厅」,集中陈列中古选品、氛围更为开放的展厅,以及背靠木质展架的办公区。
Around this banyan tree, the spatial structure of the world island is roughly divided into three parts:Home living room" with floor-to-ceiling glass and fireplace design, Concentrated display of ancient selected products, more open atmosphere of the exhibition hall, An office area backed by wooden display shelves.
材质选择去繁就简,以木与石元素作为自然感的基础载体,仅使用洞石、陶土砖这样具有硬感的天然材质,与细腻轻柔的柚木和石灰洗进行搭配,最终达至轻重之间的微妙平衡。
The choice of materials is simplified, wood and stone elements are used as the basic carrier of nature, and only hard natural materials such as travertine and terracotta brick are used to match with delicate and gentle teak and lime washing, and finally achieve a delicate balance between light and heavy.
整面的落地玻璃橱窗,将介于米与浅灰底色之上的薄薄绿意选作空间墙面、顶面,以及柜体的表面包裹,在满足空间收纳功能的同时,使展陈柜柜体与空间的整体调性形成统一。 绿中深浅笔触交错,具象化了榕树向周围四散而去的枝叶,正被无规无律的风吹得哗哗作响。阳光透过榕树缝隙及天窗向空间内撒下婆娑的光影,随着四季变化呈现不同的场景。
The floor-to-ceiling glass window on the whole surface selects the thin green between the meter and light gray background as the space wall, top surface, and the surface of the cabinet to wrap, while meeting the space storage function, so that the overall tonality of the display cabinet and the space is unified. The green is intertwined with dark and shallow brushstrokes, which visualize the branches and leaves of the banyan tree scattered around, which are being blown by the irregular wind. Sunlight shines through the gaps in the banyan trees and skylights into the space, presenting different scenes with the changing seasons.
在中古物品与空间设计中,对新旧的定义很难遵循线性时间观念在不同领域的实践,引发出另一种有关生命理解的时间观:亦新亦旧,亦旧亦新,往往只有当被遗忘,才是在这个世界上的真正消失。
In the design of medieval objects and spaces, it is difficult for the definition of the old and the new to follow the practice of linear time concepts in different fields, which leads to another view of time about the understanding of life: new and old, old and new, often only when forgotten, is the real disappearance in this world.
