Littlewood is a customized residence located in Hampton, just 20 minutes south of Melbourne, where InForms director Jon McKimm and Goldens director Alicia McKimm reside. Pleysier Perkins design director Stewart Youngblutt said, The initial design was a fairly typical four bedroom home.

Youngblutt said that side doors lead to the center of the house more interestingly than typical front doors and corridors. Upon entering the residence, residents immediately see a circulation core covered in wood, with a kitchen living and dining space connected to the garden on the right and a private lounge on the left.

Jon said, We incorporate nature into our design and place the old white cedar at the back. This tree protects us from sunlight in summer, and as a deciduous tree, it sheds its leaves in winter, allowing the Northern Lights to shine directly on the back wall of the kitchen

There is a full height sliding door in the study, which allows easy access to the garden. The outdoor sofa in the garden provides an intuitive place to relax.

Jon said, In order to make the most of the natural light on the first floor, we have installed french window on the whole back of the house.. We installed full height windows upstairs to allow a lot of natural light to enter, making the upstairs feel no less than the first floor. In addition, there is a large skylight above the central staircase to separate the master bedroom from the childrens space on the second floor.

In terms of landscape, each room in Littlewood has lush vegetation. Downstairs, the circulation space around the main living area is enriched by the scenery in front and behind the house.
