Bim villa is constructed on a plot in a coastal urban area in Ha Long. The house needs to fit into the neighborhood's planning guidelines and provide sufficient space for a family of parents and four children.
With these conditions, the architects have proposed a living space that incorporates ample green spaces inside the house to ensure privacy while still fostering open communication with urban life. The specific measures include a large veranda running along the length of the house, providing shelter from sun and rain.
The use of transparent sliding doors seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor spaces without barriers. Sparse wooden fences covered with natural vegetation allow for open observation from inside to outside while maintaining discretion.
Large and small gardens are placed at varying heights and facades, creating interconnected green spaces that form a large ecosystem. This setup encourages family members to interact with nature and each other.
The gardens are designed to ensure adequate sunlight, airflow for plant growth, and effective drainage systems for easy maintenance.
Diverse windows and entrances are positioned on facades and within all rooms to facilitate airflow and maximize exposure to green spaces inside and outside the house while preserving necessary privacy.
By employing these simple measures to create large open spaces inside, the house is built with a compact volume yet maintains a significant green density to contribute back to the urban environment
