Kiasma Studios：Sanctuary Bar and Kitchen—a 7,500 sqft located in Goa, India. This project centres around the restoration of a 200-year-old Portuguese villa, breathing new life into a once-neglected plot by transforming it into a vibrant kitchen and bar, set amidst a natural sanctuary.

With 50% of the plot preserved for nature, fostering biodiversity, and encouraging community engagement, Sanctuary embodies a harmonious blend of heritage preservation, sustainable design, and communal gathering spaces.

The project embraces its challenging terrain, with the old Portuguese ruins entwined by the roots of a majestic tree at the entrance—a powerful symbol of resilience and the adaptive spirit of both nature and architecture.

经过修复的别墅内部现在可以提供两种截然不同的用餐体验：白天在厨房烹饪美食，夜晚则是一个热闹的酒吧，设有可容纳 40 人的小木屋和一个乡村风格的吧台，客人可以在这里放松身心。

Within, the restored villa now hosts two distinct dining experiences: a kitchen for daytime culinary delights, and by evening, a lively bar featuring a 40-seater cabana and a rustic counter where guests can unwind.

The landscape is adorned with carefully curated sculptures and murals that enhance the overall ambience, telling stories and enriching the surroundings.
