Xanadu 是诗人塞缪尔·柯勒律治笔下忽必烈可汗拥有的东方都市 – 元上都。在西方语境中,Xanadu 意为理想中的乌托邦、梦境中的世外桃源。仙那度正是应此而生,为远道而来的栖者,创造脱离世俗日常的诗意彼岸。
千百年后的今天,对于当下无数在生活在都市人来说,是怎样的状态?似乎在赛博都市中定居久了,再次向往着游牧。仙那度的“都市游牧”,是我们对当代生活方式的一种反思。如何在快节奏的生活状态下,找到一种自由的,野性的生活方式。
Xanadu is the Eastern city of Shangdu, ruled by the great Khan Kublai, as described by the poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge. In the Western context, Xanadu represents an ideal utopia, a dreamlike paradise. “Xanadu” is born from this idea, creating a poetic sanctuary for travelers to escape from the mundane realities of everyday life.
In today’s world, how do we view this, especially for those of us living in fast-paced cities? It seems that after long settling in cybernetic metropolises, there is a renewed yearning for a nomadic life. Xanadu’s “urban nomadism” is a reflection on contemporary lifestyles, exploring how, in the face of a fast-paced world, we can find freedom and a wilder way of living.

Lost and Coordinates
“当第一次置身场地的野性从林,一种巨大的虚无感,让我急切的抬头仰望,试图通过森林里透过的天光,来找寻自己的坐标与方向。直到我转身,看见几束透过丛林的丁达尔光留下的几个圆形光斑,让我缓过神来。于是,我决定为这片黑暗森林,再升起一轮太阳。”——陈洁琦
When I first entered the wild forest of the site, a profound sense of nothingness overwhelmed me. I urgently lifted my head, trying to find my coordinates and direction through the light filtering through the trees. Until I turned around and saw a few round light spots formed by the Dendel light piercing through the jungle, I began to regain my sense of place. Then, I decided to raise the sun once more for this dark forest. —Jacky Chan

项目在距离重庆市区仅 60 公里之外的巴南,这里山脉连绵,森林密布,都市与自然的距离,并没有想象中那么远,甚至是密切关联的。
The project is located in Banan, just 60 kilometers from downtown Chongqing. Here, mountains stretch endlessly, and forests are dense. The distance between the city and nature is not as far as one might imagine, but instead is intimately connected.

场地位于一座陡峭的山头,地势坡度大,仅在山顶有一条平缓的路径。行走其间,无时不刻被一棵棵耸高细直的杉树环绕,让人失去方向感。
The site is perched on a steep mountain, with a large gradient and only a gentle path at the top. Walking through the land, one is constantly surrounded by tall, slender fir trees, which disorient the senses.

原初自然与几何 Primordial Nature and Geometry 森林,海洋,山川,大漠,都给人一种无尽的深邃和虚无感,而地平线上升起的太阳,给了原始的人类最初的几何认知——圆与直线。然后,人们通过挖坑穴、堆台地和立石木等生产活动,使三角形、四边形、圆形、多边形…一系列逐渐完美的几何图形逐渐被呈现,人类意识才开始逐渐构建出新的精神世界。通过远古洞穴墙上的壁画,便可见一斑。
The forest, the ocean, the mountains, and the desert all evoke a sense of boundless depth and nothingness. Yet, the sun rising on the horizon provided early humans with their first geometric understanding—circles and straight lines. Later, through activities such as digging pits, building terraces, and erecting standing stones, humans began to reveal a progression of geometric forms—triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, polygons—and gradually, a more refined understanding of geometry emerged. It is through ancient cave paintings that we can see glimpses of this spiritual evolution.

In this endless forest, we try to create abstract geometric shapes through architecture, crafting a surreal atmosphere that offers those who enter an experience beyond the ordinary, enabling them to connect with both the ancient past and the natural world.

主楼正立面是一个的球形凹面,与圆形的前广场相互呼应,让建筑成为广场的舞台背景,构成一组立体的活动场所。四角微微扬起的墙面,与深邃的弧形洞口,轻盈与厚重感,隐喻宇宙星体的引力场。
The main building’s front elevation is a spherical concave form, which resonates with the circular shape of the plaza in front, positioning the building as the backdrop to the square and forming a dynamic, three-dimensional space. The walls at the four corners gently rise, and the deep, arc-shaped openings evoke a sense of both lightness and weight, metaphorically alluding to the gravitational fields of celestial bodies.

主楼建筑是一个内外相通的腔体,人们可以经由幽暗的洞穴,进入通高的内部餐厅空间,置身于树林的包裹之中,再转折外部悬梯到达凌于树梢的屋顶空间,远眺群山。人们亦可以先经由塔楼,旋转攀登直上最高点,再通过飞桥进入屋顶空间。这是两条相互缠绕的路径,让人们穿梭于建筑内部与树林之间,在此相互遥望和相遇,形成立体多层次的游览体验。

The main building is a spatial volume that connects the interior and exterior. People can enter through a dim cave-like entrance, leading to a tall, open dining space, enveloped by the surrounding trees. From there, they can transition via an external suspended staircase to the rooftop, elevated among the treetops, where they can enjoy a panoramic view of the mountains. Alternatively, one can ascend via a tower, spiraling to the highest point, and then cross a skybridge to reach the roof. These are two intertwining paths that allow visitors to traverse between the architecture and the forest, meeting and gazing at one another, creating a multi-layered, immersive experience.

每当夜晚灯光亮起,正立面的圆形灯光装置如同日冕一般,成为整个园区的“空间重力场”。
Each evening, when the lights come on, the circular light fixtures on the façade resemble a corona, becoming the “gravitational field” of the entire park.

几何群像与森林 Geometric Figures and the Forest
4 栋沿着山顶等高线依次排开的建筑,以及 6 栋隐秘在松林里的树屋,如同远古留下的矩阵,围绕中心广场形成一种迷离的空间关系,营造出一种超现实的氛围。建筑以原始几何的形体和窗洞,大面积留白的墙体,映射着摇曳的树影,建筑也成了环境的一部分。

The four white buildings aligned along the mountaintop contour and the six treehouses nestled among the pine forest resemble an ancient matrix, surrounding the central plaza and creating a surreal spatial relationship. The architecture, with its primitive geometric forms and window openings, and its large areas of blank walls reflecting the swaying shadows of trees, becomes an integral part of the environment.

森林里唯一开阔的土地,也是天光斜阳最爱眷顾的地方。林间的空地,向西面的山谷展开,远处山景与天际线一览无余。两米多高的落差,通过弧形片墙和石板路联接,逐级而上。白色的方型冥想池,斜插进土地深处。一个迷失丛林之间的大地坐标,将无边泳池的视野引至天边,于悬崖绝壁之间,呈现一抹蔚蓝。
The only open land within the forest is also the place most favored by the slanting light of dusk. The clearing in the woods opens up towards the western valley, offering an unobstructed view of the distant mountains and the horizon. A two-meter drop is connected through curved walls and stone pathways, ascending step by step. The white square meditation pool is tilted deep into the ground.

The Gaps of Time
“我想创造出一种抽离日常,超脱自然的“弱引力场”,让到访的旅人有一种失重感,时空被稀释,情绪得以释放。深邃的洞门,几何的缝隙,与建筑相互统一,仿佛在凝固的永恒里,撕开的时间缝隙。”
I want to create a ‘weak gravitational field’ that detaches visitors from the everyday, transcending nature itself, giving them a sense of weightlessness, where time and space become diluted, and emotions are released. The deep portals, geometric gaps, and the unity between architecture and nature seem to tear open a time gap in the frozen eternity.

洞见森林
Insight into the Forest
森林,是原始人类所栖居的自然。风、光、泥土、空气,这世界本是纯粹的荒芜,原始几何的洞口,提供了一种洞见森林的观法。三角型,半圆型,圆形,水滴型,流线型,构成了日月星辰,山穴溶洞的想象。多重错落的流线穿梭其间,平行着,交错着,提供了一种探索般的森林观法。这些严谨的几何也正是一种“人造物”的宣誓,源于自然、重塑自然、超脱自然。
The forest is the primordial home of humanity. Wind, light, earth, and air—this world, once pure and barren, was understood through the primitive geometric openings of nature. Triangular, semicircular, circular, teardrop, and streamlined shapes construct the imagination of celestial bodies, mountains, and caves. Multiple, interwoven flowlines pass through, parallel and crisscrossing, offering an exploratory way of experiencing the forest. These rigorous geometric forms are a testament to human ingenuity—born from nature, reshaped by humanity, and transcending nature itself.

隐秘与消藏
Secrecy and Concealment
树屋与接待亭,坐落于山谷之间,隐秘在山顶的另一侧。接待亭隐退在杉树林之后,如白驹过隙的林中白亭,几何形态的屋顶,漂浮在林间。从斜插片墙的阶梯转折步入,紧接着视野完全打开,树屋在丛林里若隐若现。天光从斜屋面顶部倾泻而下,静谧而空灵的亭子空间。
The treehouses and reception pavilion sit nestled within the valley, hidden on the opposite side of the mountaintop. The reception pavilion retreats behind the cedar trees, a white structure that appears like a fleeting shadow in the forest. The geometric roof floats among the trees. Entering via a staircase that curves around a tilted wall, the view suddenly opens up, revealing the treehouses which seem to appear and disappear within the dense forest. Light pours down from the slanted roof, filling the pavilion with a quiet and ethereal atmosphere.

晶体般的树屋,如同天外来物,在山谷中破土而出。不锈钢和铝镁锰金属外观,将建筑隐入弥漫的山雾之中。夜幕降临,森林里透着微光的洞口,高低错落,点亮暮色的森林。
The crystal-like treehouses rise from the valley floor as if they were otherworldly beings. The stainless steel and aluminum-magnesium-manganese metal façade blends into the mist that envelops the mountains. As night falls, the faint light of the forest’s openings flicker through the darkening woods, lighting up the twilight.

树屋内部空间被形状各异的洞口串联,圆形地窗、矩形横条和异形窗,形成丰富的视线关系。环形楼梯,连接底层私汤和天窗阁楼,柠檬黄玻璃包裹着卫浴空间,一个原始且未来的晶体内部,闪耀着穴居的火光。

Inside the treehouses, different-shaped openings connect various spaces. Circular floor-to-ceiling windows, rectangular strips, and irregularly shaped windows create a rich visual interplay, reating a raw yet futuristic crystal interior that shimmers with the glow of cave-like warmth.

Vision
建筑,不只是简单的建造,通过空间形式与秩序的组织,控制情绪的张弛,便超越了物质本身,便创造出诗意。我们从不忽视自然,让光和空气,穿过建筑。我们直面原始自然的荒芜,以想象力突破边界,以歌颂生命自然的野性之美。
Architecture is more than simple construction. By organizing space and order, controlling the ebb and flow of emotions, it transcends materiality and creates poetry. We never disregard nature—allowing light and air to pass through the building. We face the raw wilderness of nature head-on, breaking boundaries with imagination, and celebrating the wild beauty of life and nature.
