GIRA and Patricia Bustos present SENDA at Interihotel: a dreamlike space that redefines luxury and connection with nature
An innovative hotel room that explores the balance between aesthetics and functionality. Inspired by bio-architecture and created with sustainable materials, SENDA is a sensory experience where every detail—from the lighting to the recycled materials—invites the guest on a journey of well-being. Welcome.
At the latest edition of Interihotel, GIRA, a leading brand in smart home and home automation solutions, has collaborated with renowned interior designer Patricia Bustos to create SENDA, a hotel room that goes beyond the boundaries of conventional design, as expected from her work. This space, conceived as a "path towards renewal and discovery," immerses visitors in a sensory and transformative environment, where every element invites an experience of well-being and profound harmony with nature.
A refuge designed to inspire
SENDA is an ode to bio-architecture and the integration of technology and nature. Inspired by winding trails, the space evokes a journey into the unknown, with organic curves and naturally flowing textures that spark curiosity and discovery. In Patricia Bustos’ words, the design seeks to “redefine living spaces, making them emotionally resonant and transformative.”
Advanced technology in service of the senses
GIRA’s technology plays a pivotal role in SENDA, allowing guests to customize and adapt every aspect of their environment. From adjustable lighting and ambient scenes that transform the atmosphere to aromatherapy systems and environmental sounds that enhance the sensory experience, every detail is designed to connect with the senses. This space also incorporates intelligent management systems that optimize resource use, promoting an eco-friendly environment that reflects GIRA’s commitment to sustainability.
Craftsmanship and sustainable materials in every corner
SENDA is not only characterized by its advanced technology but also by its respect for materials and craftsmanship. Patricia Bustos has carefully selected every element, integrating recycled materials and natural finishes that not only add beauty but also minimize environmental impact. Woods, recycled fabrics, and brass details bring to life a space that feels alive and in tune with its surroundings.
Every piece of furniture and accessory in SENDA has been crafted with an artisanal approach, emphasizing the value of handmade creations and the uniqueness of each piece. Thus, this hotel room becomes a small museum of forms and textures, where craftsmanship dialogues with technology, giving rise to a modern refuge that balances aesthetics, sustainability, and a deep respect for nature.
A visual and emotional narrative
The design of SENDA revolves around a spiral-shaped bed, symbolizing growth and progress toward a deeper understanding of life and awareness. The arrangement of furniture and decorative elements follows a fluid and dynamic structure, offering guests a unique visual experience that invites introspection and rest. With features like a built-in fireplace and fountain, SENDA is a space where natural elements merge with innovation to create a contemporary luxury experience.
Sustainability and well-being: the philosophy of SENDA
For GIRA and Patricia Bustos, the design of SENDA is based on aesthetics and functionality, but also on a commitment to well-being and sustainability. From the use of low-impact materials to the incorporation of technologies that optimize energy consumption, every aspect of the space has been designed to offer a pleasurable and environmentally respectful experience. SENDA invites its visitors to participate in a narrative of environmental care that enriches every moment. The spaces we inhabit can no longer remain as they were.
A legacy of innovation at Interihotel
SENDA represents the future vision of GIRA and Patricia Bustos for the hospitality industry: an approach where design, technology, and nature merge to create spaces that inspire and transform. This project is more than a hotel room; it is an example of how design can enrich the user experience, fostering a deeper connection with the environment and oneself.
