A new space for a classic in Seville's shops. Galerías Madrid has trusted our work to develop its new physical identity. The space, located in the heart of the Andalusian capital, is made up of three floors where the Seville company carries out its commercial activity based on the sale of fabrics, accessories and ready-made garments.
The concept applied takes as its starting premises the operation of the store itself and the values of the company.
First of all, this is evident in the distribution of the ground and first floors. The aim was to create a central nave where customer service activities take place. Side naves give way to exhibition spaces where accessories and fabrics are visible as works of art.
The unique element is the large skylight that crowns the building and allows natural light to enter the ground floor. This is where the proposal to generate an experience for the user in which to buy and rest in a unique space takes shape.
An imposing staircase runs through the different floors, generating an embrace for the visitor. On the first floor, the circularity of the large oculus that runs through the different floors is enhanced, creating a gallery around the parapet of the latter.
Along this point, different spaces and areas respond to the exhibition needs of the store.
The materials used in the design seek to give prominence to the product, opting for a neutral colour range that creates the perfect background for the appreciation of the different fabrics.
All the furniture is integrated into the architecture to promote the comfort of the routes and the organisation of the commercial space.
The lighting, both natural and artificial, has been carefully taken care of to promote a correct colour reproduction of the fabrics and a correct hierarchisation of the spaces.
