Odera 酒店丨StudioBonarchi

蒂诺斯岛（Tinos）是一座美丽得令人惊叹不已的岛屿，是基克拉泽斯群岛的一部分，正成为爱琴海的一颗冉冉升起的新星。从这个角度来看，岛上第一家如此规模的五星级度假村Odera的出现似乎是理所当然的。仅凭名字——ᾠδή（ODE）和 αέρας（风）的混合词，就足以说明这个迷人地方的地位。

Tinos is an island of wondrous beauty, part of the Cyclades archipelago, that is becoming one of the up-and-coming stars of the Aegean. In that light, the arrival of ODERA – the first five star resort of such a scale on the island, should seem only natural. The name alone – an amalgam of the worlds ᾠδή (ODE) and αέρας (wind) worthily claims the stature of this enchanting place.

Tinos has always been considered the most spiritual island of Greece, and quite rightfully so.   Incredibly enough, more than 700 Orthodox and Catholic whitewashed churches can be found around its 60 picturesque villages. Reflecting this element of spirituality in the conception of the hotel’s identity and interior design was a goal from the very start.

需要采用多立克式设计方法——材料采用最纯粹的形式，建筑手法受限，家具低调，这些都经过深思熟虑，直接参考了岛上密集的修道院马赛克。在主大厅，光明与黑暗的对比激发了某种神秘感。主导的拱门序列是对著名的乌尔苏拉修道院的致敬，该修道院被认为是当时最好的地中海机构之一，许多备受尊敬的欧洲艺术家和学者来到这里授课，并通过这样做，为爱琴海的这一部分创造了一种国际化精致感。

A doric design approach was called for – Materials in their purest form, confined architectural gestures and discreet pieces of furniture were thoughtfully selected as a direct reference to the islands’ dense monastic mosaic. In the main Lobby, the contrast between light and darkness inspires a certain kind of mysticism.   The dominating sequence of arches pays an homage to the renowned Ursulines monastery, considered among the best Mediterranean institutions at the time, where a long list of highly esteemed European artists and scholars arrived in order to give lessons, and by doing so, contributed in creating a sense of cosmopolitan sophistication to this part of the Aegean.

Traditional architecture emerged as a natural protagonist, as well. Tinos is unbelievably rich in that regard. Think only of the characteristic pigeon houses, standing tall on the edge of a hill with their elaborate decorations. Their trademark geomertic designs are subtly mirrored in engraved details on the stone headboards of the rooms. In the main restaurant, custom plate racks placed among the dining area are graced with the characteristic marble ornaments so often adorning the main entrances of the island’s houses, while on the outdoor terrace, elaborate pebble floor decorations in black and white celebrate an eons long Aegean artisanal heritage.

Last but not least, a tribute to the exceptional tradition of local artisans, marble sculptors, artists and painters, was in due. When in Tinos, someone can’t help but feel that everything on this island is somehow more elaborate when compered to the other Cycladic islands. Architecture, traditional ornamentation, traditional art and so on. In essence, this is what we aimed to incorporate into the interiors of the Odera. Refinement. Elegance. Appreciation for art. Love for the attention to detail.
