Project Overview

近年来，大学校园的建设步入了内向更新阶段。都市既有校园（或称“校本部”）因面临土地利用率低下、规划存在局限、建筑老化陈旧、停车与绿化不足等诸多问题，向内挖掘并整合已迫在眉睫。

In recent years, the construction of university campuses has entered a stage of internal renewal. Existing urban campuses (or “main campuses”) are faced with many problems such as low land utilization rate, limited planning, aging and dilapidated buildings, insufficient parking and greenery, etc. It is urgent to explore and integrate internally.

产教融合发展工程为上海工程技术大学“十三五”建设项目，选址于长宁校区，是一座总建筑面积达 5.7 万平方米、高度为 60 米、集三个应用型艺术学院的教学、实验、展示以及可容纳 1200 人学生住宿功能于一体的都市型校园教育综合体。

The industry-education integration project is a construction project during the “13th Five-Year Plan” period of Shanghai University of Engineering Science. It is located on the Changning Campus. It is an urban campus education complex with a total construction area of 57,000 square meters and a height of 60 meters, integrating the teaching, experiment, exhibition functions of three applied art colleges and the accommodation function for 1,200 students.

城市关系 Relationship with the City 基地西侧和南侧现状主要为多层建筑，南侧是虹桥绿地。面对西南侧的城市“洼地”以及南侧的都市景观，如何与城市进行对话成为项目的关键所在。艺术类学科也需要更多用于展示、交流以及激发思维碰撞的多样化空间，这一点值得深入挖掘。新建筑的“巨大”体量为面向城市、统筹校园提供了契机。▼城市关系和校园关系，city relations and campus relations © TJAD

The current situation on the west and south sides of the site is mainly multi-story buildings, and the south side is Hongqiao Green Space. Facing the urban “depression” on the southwest side and the urban landscape on the south side, how to have a dialogue with the city has become the key point of the project. Art disciplines also need more diverse spaces for exhibition, communication and inspiring the collision of ideas, which is worth in-depth exploration. The “huge” volume of the new building provides an opportunity to face the city and coordinate the campus.

校园提升

Campus Enhancement

本项目以主入口南移、功能置换以及利用地下空间为目标，明确教学、产研、生活三大功能，同时补充校园展示、艺术活动、生活配套等多样化配置。重塑校门空间序列，完善中心开放空间，共同构建校园空间形象，形成以中心绿地为核心、向四周辐射的校园公共空间体系。

This project aims at moving the main entrance southward, replacing functions and utilizing underground spaces. It clarifies the three major functions of teaching, industry-research and living, and at the same time supplements diverse configurations such as campus exhibition, art activities and living facilities. It reshapes the spatial sequence of the school gate and improves the central open space to jointly build the campus spatial image and form a campus public space system with the central green space as the core and radiating to all directions.

艺术之门

The Door of Art

“门”型空间如同巨型取景器，巨大框架内嵌“L”形的体量，构成艺术之门和艺术舞台的台框。在“门”型方正体量内部，将公共空间进行拆解并与交通空间相结合，从而建立起与校园、与城市之间多层面、连续互动的对话关系。

The “door”-shaped space is like a giant viewfinder. A huge frame embeds an “L”-shaped volume, forming the frame of the door of art and the stage of art. Inside the square volume of the “door”-shaped space, the public space is disassembled and combined with the traffic space, thus establishing a multi-level and continuous interactive dialogue relationship with the campus and the city.

微型校园

Miniature Campus

垂直叠加的序列以校园中心绿地为起始点，衔接低层教学展示区，随后上行可进入南侧宿舍与北侧学院。在裙房内插入两个窄院，以此化解进深过大所带来的采光和通风问题。共享的艺术街区、垂直的公共平台、塔楼的垂直中庭以及联系塔楼的空中展厅共同组成本项目的非正式交流容器。

The vertically stacked sequence takes the central green space of the campus as the starting point, connects the low-rise teaching and exhibition area, and then one can enter the dormitory on the south side and the college on the north side by going up. Two narrow courtyards are inserted into the podium to solve the problems of lighting and ventilation caused by excessive depth. The shared art street, the vertical public platform, the vertical atrium of the tower, and the aerial exhibition hall connecting the towers jointly form the informal communication container of this project.

艺术街

Art Street

裙房南北两端连接原有校园道路，延续了校园肌理。艺术街水平展开，构建起贯通南北的漫游式通廊，并通过中庭垂直延伸，楼梯交错向上，连接各层屋面平台以及垂直中庭。裙房屋面自然形成不同高度的平台。西侧可瞭望校园核心绿地，东侧结合服装学院 T 台成为室外舞台空间。在“门”型框架内，面向城市、面向校园，将长宁独特的城市风貌以及校园核心绿地纳入视野之中。

The north and south ends of the podium are connected to the original campus roads, continuing the campus texture. The art street unfolds horizontally, building a roaming corridor running through the north and south, and extends vertically through the atrium. The stairs crisscross upwards, connecting the roof platforms on each floor and the vertical atrium. The roof of the podium naturally forms platforms at different heights. On the west side, one can overlook the core green space of the campus, and on the east side, combined with the T-stage of the Fashion College, it becomes an outdoor stage space. Within the “door”-shaped frame, facing the city and the campus, the unique urban landscape of Changning and the core green space of the campus are brought into view.

书山之径 The Path on the Mountain of Books

盘旋而上的公共“楼梯”取意“书山有路勤为径”。这个雕塑式的楼梯结构容纳了非正式报告厅、教室、展厅、阅览区、露台等功能空间，大量社交、展示活动在此处发生。顶层连廊联系南北，提供校园展示空间。展示大厅水平展开，面向城市、俯视校园，城市景观与校园活力通过横向长窗可一览无余。

The spiraling public “staircase” is inspired by the saying “There is a path to the mountain of books through diligence”. This sculptural staircase structure accommodates functional spaces such as informal lecture halls, classrooms, exhibition halls, reading areas and terraces. A large number of social and exhibition activities take place here. The corridor on the top floor connects the north and south, providing campus exhibition space. The exhibition hall unfolds horizontally, facing the city and overlooking the campus. The urban landscape and the vitality of the campus can be seen clearly through the long horizontal windows.
