建筑与基地间应当有着某种经验上的联系，一种行而上的联系，一种诗意的连结。

Architecture is bound to situation. And I feel like the site is a metaphysical link, a poetic link.

桑干河植物园位处山东省荣成市的政府广场东侧，茶室的选址位于植物园南入口附近的一片雪松林当中。林中雪松较为规整地分成三排，呈南北长向布置。雪松林西侧背靠园区围墙，向东眺望是一池人工湖与桑干河。

The Sanggan River Botanical Garden is located on the east side of the government square in Rongcheng City, Shandong Province. The teahouse is situated in a cedar forest near the south entrance of the botanical garden. The cedars in the forest are divided into three rows in a more regular layout, arranged in a north-south direction. The west side of the cedar forest is the garden wall, and the east side is the artificial lake and the Sanggan River.

我们在实地考察时，一进入这一区域便立即被雪松那高耸的身姿、矩阵化的气势、婆娑的树影所吸引，在此立刻可以感受到雪松才是这片场地的主角。

When we entered this area, we were immediately attracted by the towering stature, the imposing matrix-like formation and the dancing shadows of the cedars. Right at that moment, it was clear that the cedars were the protagonists of this site.

通过现场测量，雪松的分叉高度将近四米，树与树的间距也有四米左右，林下空间所形成的尺度能够满足建设一层高度的建筑。对于如此明确的场所特质，设计策略也逐渐明晰：在不破坏原有自然秩序的基础之上，建筑应以一种“轻”的姿态介入场地，与自然共生。

According to the on-site measurement, the branch height of the cedar is nearly four meters, and the distance between the cedars is about four meters. The space beneath the cedars is just large enough for a one-story building. In the face of such explicit characteristics of the site, the design strategy has gradually become clear: On the basis of not disrupting the original natural order, the architecture should intervene in the site with a “light” stance and coexist with nature.

几片高度各异的石墙，以不同的方位角穿插于林间，石与松，二者形成了共生的关系。在此处，雪松挺拔参天，石墙水平伸展，石墙因斑驳的树影好似有了生命，雪松因石墙的衬托愈显生意盎然。

Several stone walls with varying heights are interspersed among the cedars at different azimuths. The stones and the cedars have formed a symbiotic relationship. Here, the cedars stand tall and reach up to the sky, while the stone walls stretch horizontally. The stone walls seem to come to life due to the mottled shadows of the cedars, and the cedars also appear more vibrant against the backdrop of the stone walls.

石墙之间的缝隙，留存着雪松的影像，形成不同形状的框景，也是与自然的生动对话。

The gaps between the stone walls reveal the images of the cedars, creating enframed views in different shapes, which also constitute a vivid dialogue with nature.

石墙之上，一片深灰色金属屋顶因物就势地展开，时而绕开雪松、时而顺势悬挑、时而与石墙交错，时而又与石墙分离，自然地进行延展。在这里雪松、石墙、金属屋顶三个构成要素，各自分离又相互交叠，共同构建自然与人工的和谐。

Upon the stone wall, a dark gray metal roof unfolds in accordance with the surrounding environment: sometimes it bypasses the cedars, sometimes it cantilevers along the trend, sometimes it interlaces with the stone walls, and sometimes it separates from them, extending naturally. Here, the three constituent elements, namely the cedars, the stone walls and the metal roof, are independent of each other yet also echo with one another, jointly creating the harmony between nature and the artificial.

一条蜿蜒的石板路顺着地形走势拾级而上，经过开阔的草地，穿过石墙围合的小院，最后到达林中深处隐秘的茶室入口。沿路而行，茶客的心绪也随着空间收放而慢慢放松。

A winding flagstone path ascends step by step following the terrain. The path passes through the open lawn, goes through the small courtyards enclosed by stone walls, and finally reaches the secluded entrance of the tea room deep in the woods. As people walk along this path, the mood of the tea drinkers gradually relaxes along with the expansion and contraction of the space.

顺应着石墙与雪松的态势，平面主要分成三个区域：饮茶区朝东，面向开阔的草坪与湖面，内外由一组折叠门分隔，天气好时将门完全打开，与室外平台一起形成营业区；往南，一片高耸的石墙横插其中，形成一块独立的静区，坐在这里，朝着层叠的松林望去，视线和思绪被带入幽深的远方；西侧则是更为隐秘的卫生间和设备用房。

The plane layout of the teahouse is divided into three areas following the trend of the stone walls and the cedars. The tea-drinking area opens to the east, facing the expansive lawn and the lake. It is separated from the outside by a set of folding doors. When the weather is fine, the doors can be fully opened, and together with the outdoor platform, it forms the business area. To the south of the tea-drinking area, a towering stone wall is inserted horizontally, creating an independent quiet area. When tea drinkers sit here and look out at the cascading pine forest, their sight and thoughts will be carried into the deep and secluded distance. On the west side of the tea room are the more secluded toilets and equipment rooms.

在室内设计上，石材墙体已经形成基本空间骨架格局，松木家具与石材搭配，形成近人的温暖。深灰色的铝板吊顶，将人的视线引向明亮的外部景色。

In terms of interior design, the stone walls have already formed the basic spatial framework pattern. The pine furniture is paired with the stone, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere close to people. The dark gray aluminum panel ceiling directs people’s sight towards the bright exterior scenery.

茶室为混合结构，整体是以石材为主的砌体结构，屋顶采用钢结构，由石墙上支起的四根钢短柱撑起，卫生间与设备用房采用砼结构。石墙的材料采用了荣成当地产的花岗岩——荣成灰，石材以 300X300 为截面，分成了多种长度的尺寸，采用传统的干砌石工艺进行砌筑。相对遗憾的是原本想要的更加粗糙的凿毛效果，因为赶工最终没能实现。

The structural design of the teahouse is a mixed structure. Overall, it is a masonry structure mainly composed of stone. The roof adopts a steel structure and is supported by four short steel columns erected on the stone walls. The toilet and equipment rooms are constructed with a concrete structure. The material for the stone walls is the granite produced locally in Rongcheng – Rongcheng Gray. The stone has a cross-section of 300×300 and is divided into various lengths. It is built using the traditional dry stone masonry technique. Unfortunately, the originally intended rougher bush-hammered effect for the stone could not be achieved due to the rushed construction.

结语 Conclusion 建筑不仅仅是一个物理空间，更是人类存在的一种体现，应与自然环境建立一种亲密而和谐的关系，让建筑成为自然的一部分，实现身心与自然的统一。茶室建成之后有一日回访，清晨一束阳光穿透雪松映照在石墙之上，在它们相互映衬之时，突然强烈的感受到一种与自然的连结，一种诗意的连结。

Architecture is not only a physical space but also an embodiment of human existence. It should establish an intimate and harmonious relationship with the natural environment, making the building an integral part of nature and achieving the unity of the body, mind and nature. On a day after the completion of the tea room during a return visit, in the early morning, a beam of sunlight penetrated through the cedar and shone on the stone wall. At the moment when they set off each other, a strong sense of connection with nature, a poetic connection, was suddenly felt.
